Food was pretty good. I had the special pasta spicy lamb sausage rigatoni. It was very good and they make great pasta sauces with well cooked pasta. Brussel sprouts during happy hour were very tasty and portion size was good. My friend had a vegetarian spaghetti pasta which also had great flavour. I ordered a happy hour beverage, I think it was something about a plane. It tasted good and I would try another variation or their cocktails again.
Overall food was good. Service is okay. For a weekday it wasnt very busy, but I felt like they wanted us out. We were only there for 2 hours. One thing I did not like was hour noisy the restaurant was. I felt like I had to shout to talk to my friend who sat across from me. Tables were tight and the people next to us almost smacked my friend in the face while putting on her jacket. I lost my voice after 2 hours and did not want to stay anyways because I couldn’t stand the noise anymore. Would come for the food, but not great to meet a friend for a conversation.

We order all 3 Crostini and they were delicious the chicken liver is a must try! – Burrata with Prosciutto., We also order from the happy hour menu- “A mix green salad,
For main course to share- Rigatoni pork ragú,Ricotta Gnocchi, Campanella, Brick chicken with roasted potatoes,.
For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and a tiramisu everything was delicious! Will definitely be back and recommending to friends.

all the food was amazing but I really recommend the ragu pasta and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert it was to die for. Our server was fun, very attentive as well topping our waters constantly and had a great pace with us throughout the night. Unfortunately I did not catch his name but he was the taller male with dark hair serving jan 19th at 6pm. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming here a lot more such a great spot!

Well it looks like I get to add my positive review to a whole bunch of others. This doesn’t surprise me. It’s a priority to come to Tavola when we go to Vancouver. And it’s always the culinary highlight. The food is the best -always! The staff are the best and they are all devoted to the quality and pride of service. Cya next time.

This was our second visit to Tavola, and once again it was a great experience. Dinner was wonderful! The service was very welcoming and attentive throughout the evening. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio, such a charming spot, and the interior has a warm, cozy ambiance that’s perfect for a date night if you prefer to sit inside. We’re lucky to have such a great Italian restaurant close to home. Tavola has definitely become one of our go to spots for a relaxed and special evening out.

Amazing Italian Dinner at this hidden gem in Vancouver’s West End – Tavola Restaurant. This place checks off all the boxes – Great simple good quality fresh food, great friendly and attentive service, great value and a wonderful vibe & ambiance. We sat out by the patio and literally felt like we were on the streets of Italy. Love the concise menu with a good selection of pastas & proteins. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is to die for. Good spot for a casual dinner! Came in for an early dinner and we loved trying crostinis, with the seasonal one being a pleasant surprise. The pasta was fresh, and the asparagus was tangy and unforgettable. The cocktail was average, but they definitely had an interesting selection.
It is a bit loud during the time we went. The parking was also a bit confusing, but the kind lady on the phone helped us find it!

Amazing house made pasta and will definitely be back. Very busy there so make sure you have an early reservation. There was a line out the door when we left.
