While there is no indoor seating and little outdoor space, it was pleasant eating beside a small lake swathed in the aroma of the smoker.
You can’t beat the service because the owner does it all. He’s friendly and accommodating.
The pork sandwich was moist. The tomato-based sauce was tasty without being too spicy. The baked beans were hot off the stove and a little sweet. And the potato salad was just right. Made with a touch of mayonnaise and diced pickles, it was far better than the gooey, yellow mess usually served at restaurants and grocery stores.
One drawback is the lack of a high chair. Most people must take their food to eat at home or picnic at nearby Chattahoochee Bend State Park.

This is the BEST BBQ in the area, hands down. The flavors are incredible and it’s always consistent. I absolutely love the brisket, but the pork and chicken are amazing. Now…let’s have a chat about Brunswick stew. There are so few places that don’t absolutely butcher what it’s intended to be. His is the only one in a 100 mile radius that I’ve gone back for. Over and over. I get there’s not a lot of seating, and none inside. But the food and service…you just can’t beat it. Literally don’t cook pork (other than bacon) or brisket…ever anymore. Why, when you can get it so delicious and reasonably priced?!? Plus, my picky child will eat it every time!! Thanks for all you do! At the brick and mortar and the truck. Can’t be beat!

Perfect place to stop by during lunch break and pick up some really great food. You just know that when you approach the place and there’s a smoker hooked up to a truck standing next to the shack, the food’s going to be great. Especially the Brunswick Stew there is fantastic.
It’s one of my fondest memories of my work visit to the States and I hope the owner will stay in business for a long time. All the best to you, Sir.

I kept missing them but finally got there when they were open.
I got myself Rib Plate with cole slaw and Brusnwick stew. Their BBQ sauce is not thick and sweet. It has a hint of vinegar and mustard, which I prefer to sweet or spicy sauce.
They are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The order was ready in no time!
I will definitely go back when I am in the area.

This was the first time I had eaten there but it definitely will not be the last. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and the owner, Steve, was very friendly, polite and patient. I recommend anyone who enjoys BBQ, stew, and other homemade sides to stop in and give it a try. U won’t be disappointed

I never knew this place existed. I only found this from Ryan Hall Y’all’s YouTube channel when I was rewatching his live stream of covering the Newnan Tornado that I wouldn’t find until almost 2 years after. This Guy’s was one of the locations Ryan was pointing out in the path of the tornado. After being close by I decided to give this place a try. That is some good BBQ. I had the brisket, potato salad, and stew. All 3 were delicious. I was impressed. The guy is also very nice and can have a good conversation with. I would highly recommend anyone to try this place. They are only open for lunch Monday through Saturday. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute drive from Newnan on 34 going towards Heard County and Franklin but I think it’s worth the drive.

Visit this place anytime we get the chance. It’s a little bit of a drive from Newnan…located at the Coweta/Heard county line. But it’s well worth the drive. Best brunswick stew around! The pulled pork is perfectly smoked. Price is fair…at $10 a plate.
You’ll have to get your order to- go. No seating…except for the one table outside.
