I went to Spanky’s, one day after doing insta cart. Linda the cashier was so, pleasant to me. I wasnt sure of what to order because, there was so, many things to choose from.The place was clean and that was a yes for me. I thought, I would give it a try. So glad I did. I ordered the catfish nugget dinner. My fish was fresh,the right batter and cooked to perfection. I had enough to share with my husband. He’s hard to please. He sais” WOW! this is delicious. 10 points for me. This is our new go to restaurant across from Elgin Casino. Thank you Linda for you patience ❤️

The Burger wasn’t cook well at all and the wings i ask them with sauce they were plain and now well cook or crunchy or crispy and it had no flavor and the fries weren’t soft or well made and the burger was not tasty at all I got sick cuz of all of it they messed up the order

The food was so fresh and delicious. There are so many options it’s almost overwhelming. You have to come here a hundred times to properly try everything. I’ve been there a few times now and each time I have enjoyed their food. The employees are the best part. They make you feel like your food is their number one priority. Very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Was at this location back in the early 2000’s , idk what happened but nothing appetizing to come back for. ….basic warmed or fried food …no character or flavor that stands out …was hoping it would hold its own like a Nana’s but far from it.
Italian sausage was butterflied n dried out for some reason, wanted red sauce on it , you get a Lil cup and super cold literally like you bought a left over reheated sausage ….Italian beef had no seasoning either , well here’s pics try it if you wish hopefully it was a off day idk?

Got the Philly cheesesteak meal ( swapped for chicken ) and a fried cheesesteak meal. Food was warm, delicious and the portions were awesome! Couldn’t recommend it more! The cook looked locked in, that’s how I knew it would be good.

Spanky’s is pretty consistently a really good place for food. They’re a great spot for food with a chill little atmosphere. Burgers are pretty great as with the mozzarella sticks, chicken sandwich, tenders and a lot of other stuff. Overall a pretty good spot and would definetly recommend if you’re looking for good food

Great food every time. Usually go for the catfish dinner which is phenomenal and I’ve never liked catfish. Tried something knew last time and it didn’t disappoint. It was the grilled chicken rice bowl. It was huge and definitely delicious. Check them out if you haven’t already

One of the best burgers I’ve had discovered in the dirtiest, dingiest underground joint imaginable. Comparable to restaurant quality burgers at the price of a regular fast food combo. Wait time being mere minutes compared to a 20-30 minute wait at other restaurants. Wow. Pure bliss. Staff were also real friendly!
