Everything I was hoping for! Lucy our server was very nice and friendly and helpful when selecting a cold sake! We ended up ordering way too much food. The specialty sushi rolls are huge, probably double in size than what I am used to, worth the money and very fresh. I had never tried shumai before, and these little dumplings were delish! Their garden salad with ginger dressing was good too, flavorful. I tried their terriyaki salmon dinner which comes with 2 large pieces of salmon, rice and veggies. The miso soup and salad are part of the dinner too. Everything was cooked just right! We also ordered the steak Pad Thai, spicy, it wasn’t really that spicy but the dish was very good. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Kumo’s sushi is truly the best in the DMV! The owner uses super fresh ingredients—just as good as Sushi Nakazawa. I got takeout, and it was still delicious at home. Their newest roll is especially amazing—a little spicy, a little sweet, and perfectly crunchy. Plus, the price is great. Highly recommend!
