Stopped in just before they closed. Staff was very sweet and didn’t make us feel rushed. Very cool collection of concert posters from shows in Nashville. Food was outstanding. Got an incredible reuben sandwich with house smoked pastrami, perfectly grilled bread, and good ratio of meat, cheese, Russian dressing. The loaded potato casserole side dish was a meal in itself and it was super rich, flavorful and more than enough to share. Highly recommend this great spot!

Food was fire and service was spot on. My only complaint…is the fudge pie I took to go was just awful. It tasted like freezer burn. I would imagine this was just a rare occurrence, though. The banana pudding was devine.

If you get the chance eat at this quaint little gem I suggest you go in. The Pulled pork i purchased was glistening the sauce wasn’t over powering. The Mac’n’cheese was creamy and cheesy. The staff was super friendly and inviting. The meat is smoked on location with the utmost care and you can tell. The diner is beautiful and cozy. My food was out and on the table within minutes of ordering. Reasonably priced and delicious 10/10 would recommend.

We found this by accident on our way from Knoxville to the Nashville Airport. Their melt-in-your-mouth brisket and their signature au gratin potatoes will bring me back any time I’m in the area. Highly, highly recommend!

Last week, I had an interaction with the owner that was entirely unacceptable and deeply concerning. While in the area, I unknowingly parked in an unmarked and unreserved space that the owner appears to unofficially claim. Though, it isn’t his space. Rather than addressing this in a reasonable way, he deliberately blocked my vehicle, preventing me from leaving.
When we asked him to move so we could exit, his response was aggressive and confrontational. He came outside yelling, making hostile gestures, and escalating the situation instead of engaging in even the most basic level of professional communication. This was not a misunderstanding that got out of hand; it was a deliberate choice to escalate a minor, unclear parking issue into a volatile and unnecessary confrontation.
Physically blocking someone in and responding with verbal aggression is alarming behavior, especially from a business owner. A brief, calm conversation would have resolved the issue immediately, yet that option was not taken. The lack of restraint and professionalism displayed raises serious concerns about how customers are treated when conflict arises.
For context, I have eaten here before and the food itself was acceptable. After this experience, I will not return. I have already shared this incident with others and will continue to do so. If you value being treated with basic respect and not being placed in a confrontational or unsafe situation, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Our food was delicious, the ribs were fall off the bone perfection. My chicken was juicy and the flavor was spot on. No extra sauce needed. All of our sides were delicious also.. Would 100% go back if I am ever in the neighborhood again. Thank you for a great meal and a friendly professional atmosphere.
