This place has quickly become my go-to spot. I visit there all the time, and I can confidently say that the food is always fresh and incredibly delicious. Each dish is prepared with such care and authenticity that it truly feels like a taste of home for me.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the sweet and friendly staff. They always greet you with a smile and make you feel like part of the family. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that wraps you in the comforting flavors and memories of Venezuela. If you’re looking for a place that serves up heartwarming dishes with love, this is the spot!

I absolutely love this place! Cachapa with chicharrón is the best cachapa I’ve ever had! There was something about that corn texture in the cachapa that made it tasty and flavorful! Loved the mini arepas too! We will come back! I highly recommend this place!!

I came here craving arepas (it’s been years since I had one) and I was really satisfied with the experience, just like I remembered them.

The place is small but has a couple of tables and a counter to eat there.

The service is very friendly. I would definitely come back for more! ;).

Nice friendly place. We ordered 2 of the traditional Venezuelan dishes, Both were big portions and filling. The cachaba was a little bland but I will definitely return to try more dishes.

“I’ve been a regular at La Gran Sabana in West New York, NJ, attracted by their great food and exceptional service. However, my latest visit left me surprised and disappointed. For the first time, an automatic gratuity was added to my bill for a simple counter order of two empanadas to go. This change was not communicated upfront, and it’s puzzling why a tip is expected when there’s no table service involved. I believe customers should be informed about such policies. Transparency and clear communication are key to customer satisfaction.

Tried their cachapa with black beans which was pretty good! Pricing was reasonable as well. This place also has outdoor seating.

I tried the pork shoulder filled corn cakes and the empanada with beef. Both of them tasted good, and provided a different kind of flavor. The restaurant is cute and small, and the owner was kind. Would recommend for this type of food.
