Big fan of Taqueria Mi Durango II here. The taco salads are awesome. Their 2nd location is a bit smaller with five tables and toned down decorations. The molcajete (traditional stone grinding bowl) $34.27 is fish, chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, bell peppers, green onions, cheese & tortillas. It is meant for two or more people. My attempt to do this solo failed miserably. At least they have to-go boxes. The steak and shrimps have a charred flavor. The inside, with the chicken, fish, shrimp and pork sausage had a smokey bean flavor combined with snap of green onions and bell peppers. I was surprised the heated stoneware didn’t dry out the meats. It was perfect. Service was excellent for a pay at the cashier and they bring you the food type of restaurant. You have to ask at the cashier to re-fill your water. The self service salsa bar is a plus. They will give you actual silverware and plate if you ask. Minor nit. The price on the electronic wall menu was $32.95. The price on the cash register is $34.27. I paid in cash. They need to update the wall menu.

Place was not that busy on a Memorial Day Monday, so I was able to order my food right away and the food was not that expensive. Worker who took my order was very nice. Food came out quick. Got a Carne Asada taco that was delicious. Didn’t even take a picture because it jumped in my belly. Burrito was decent, good flavor but I wish they put more meat in it. It was packed, but I found myself trying to conserve the meat to make it last for other bites. Salsa bar was cool with the huge selection to choose from. Other than that, I would come back and definitely order more tacos.

Wonderful and clean Mexican restaurant with very large portions. They give you a lot of food for fairly inexpensive prices. You do need to make good use of their salsa bar, which is fairly extensive. We ordered the Pizzoli and a wet burrito with Al Pastore. Both dishes were huge but a tiny bit bland so once you make good use of the salsa bar, everything pops! The posole had so much meat and it was just so tender. The wet burrito had a sauce that was great just adding a little of the hot salsa it was perfect.

Fresh, delicious, and authentic. Friendly service. Love their grilled fish tacos and taco plate! Have been eating here regularly for over a year. We are so lucky to have Taqueria Mi Durango in our neighborhood — food is just as delicious as at their sister location!

The lively ambiance with traditional music playing in the background added a delightful touch to the dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings!

Food is good for the price. Fish and shrimp tacked are tasty and you get a good amount of food. Got it to go and the guy behind the counter was nice and courteous. They have a great salsa bar and can tell it’s fresh , very yummy! I’m sure there going to take off once people try them! Fast and convenient!
