This is a small restaurant that is filled with plants and good food. The recipes are unique compared to many in the area. My favorites are Satay Chicken, Terryaki Chicken, and I don’t know if they still make it but the red chicken with onions I can never remember the name of. I moved away for 15 years and it was the first place I ate at when I moved back. The food was just as good as I remembered. The prices are about the same as they were when I was living here going to school at ISU. They have good appetizers too. It is called express because the main dishes, rice, and noodles are ready to go. If you want an appetizer, you will need to wait while they make them fresh but if you are in a hurry, just get the main course and main side and you can be out in less than 10 minutes. The butter chicken is new to me, it has a high heat kick though so if you like mild heat, use caution. The heat is not additive and it takes down after a brief time but is it hotter than the Satay Chicken for sure. Really good rounded flavor on all of the dishes.

Every time I am in Pocatello I make sure to stop here and eat. The chicken satay is my favorite, but they have various options for sides. Definitely recommend this place.

Used to be one of my favorite places to grab a quick meal. But since the change in ownership the quality of the food has changed drastically. I recently tried it against my better judgment and nothing has improved. The noodles tasted like they were a week old and the sauce was too salty and greasy. I won’t ever try it again. It’s a shame the new owners couldn’t maintain the flavor that once made this restaurant one of the best places to eat in Pocatello.

I’ve always loved Kowloon. They moved over to Red Hot Roasters but the food is still super good. Go support these guys, the people who work there are incredibly nice!

Satay shrimp has been the bomb for years!
The added coffee shop is definitely a bonus.
My family loves this place.

This is the best hole-in-the-wall in all of Pocatello. The food is phenomenal and fairly priced. You get so much with your entree! I’ve since moved across the country but I still miss Kowloon Express.

I go there for lunch often and it is always the same guy working and he’s very friendly. The food is great and priced fairly. The selection is on the small side, but everything they have is good so it’s not too big of a deal.

This place is amazing!!!!! Their food is completely philipino authentic, it is worth every penny. Also, it is very reasonable priced.
The owners who serve your food are the nicest people you will ever encounter.
Highly recommed:
Adobo, Satay Beef, and the noodles are AWESOME!!!!!!

The soup was the only yummy part of the meal. Everything else was pretty gross. The meat is way too soupy. I could only eat barely half of the food and I threw the rest out. Wish I hadn’t had to pay $7 for it
