Took my grandsons + girlfriend for lunch. I had the meatloaf sandwich, excellent. Grandson had the Danny Boy also excellent. Our server was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an Irish tavern. Busy, happy conversations. Go. You won’t be disappointed.

I order a small buffet as I was starving.
An order fish and chips, Reuben sandwich plate, French onion soup, fried mushroom appetizer. Everything was spot on! If I had to pick one thing the fries needed another minute to be crispy. As it was I left with a major food baby
All in all I’m glad I don’t live local as this restaurant could be an issue…. But that’s a big compliment!!

The Shepherds Pie was very good! My wife had the Shawn Club sandwich with onion rings, and said it was one of the best club sandwiches she has ever had! We will definitely return to this restaurant!

We come here alot and it is always good service and great food. However tonight was the absolute worst meal experience in a long time. 1 burger cold, 1 absolutely raw and a wrap that was wrong! When I told the waitress she said she would talk to someone. 10 minutes later a new wrap shows up for my daughter. It was warm at least but if you wanted southwest sauce or the tortilla strips on it that must be extra because there was none. And then at that point I am told they are taking mine to “make it better” I said I didn’t want anything to do with that burger. 10more minutes and she said they wanted to see the burger and now are making me a new one. By this time 20 minutes had passed and we already waited 30 for the original order so we waited…….and waited………and waited. I finally asked for the darn check. I dont think they believed my burger was raw which is ridiculous but to never see a manager is crazy and to not be offered a discount on the rest of that nasty meal was mind blowing. We won’t be back for a long time. Absolutely terrible meal and service.

Taylor was great she was very entertaining. This was my first time ever being at Shawn’s. They have a good food selection. And the place was really clean even towards the end of a Saturday night.

Food, service and atmosphere are all good, BUT, in a dining world where there are now 2 types of restaurants – 1. those who respect their credit card paying customers, and 2. those who don’t, Shawn’s is in the 2nd category. Why? They, like many restaurants these days, add a credit card surcharge to the bill, effectively saying “we like our smallest customer segment, cash payers, better than our largest segment”. There are still plenty of great restaurants (Chop House, J. Alexander’s, Bars Public House) that continue to do as they did before restaurants were allowed to pass card sweep fees directly to customers, they build their swipe fee expenses into their overall expense profile and set their menu pricing accordingly. Places like Shawn’s will gripe that the swipe fees cost them money, which is true enough, but they ignore the fact that handling cash has costs credit cards don’t that they are not deducting from credit card payers bills. There is evidence that handling cash actually costs more than credit card swipe fees for many businesses. I will not return to Shawn’s because of this.

Food was Luke warm. French onion soup was awful. Zero taste. Server seemed new and unorganized, among other things, she did not mention and up charge on an item, however when we asked if there was an up charge she said “oh, yes.”
