I’ve been going to Sunnyside since I was a baby. It’s my Mothers favorite place to eat, and as far as Mexican food mine too. The food is always fresh, hot, and tastes absolutely outstanding. Services is on point, and the prices are more than reasonable. I am only able to make it a few times a year due to the fact I live in the Detroit area now. They usually close around 3pm, which is another reason. I have not 1 bad thing to say about this place.

It is a little out of the way and it isn’t much to look at, but the Sunny Side is legit for breakfast.
I had a trio of breakfast tacos and a side of fried potatoes and a side of beans and rice and I finished it all — but, man, it took some effort because of the portions.
Do not hesitate to head here for breakfast. Plenty of parking, seating, and outstanding service and cooking.
Ask for some salsa and try the green one to spice things up just a smidge. Though their red salsa is outstanding as well.

I am a born and raised Tejana, so when I tell you that this breakfast plate in Michigan could have just as easily been served to me in San Antonio or the RGV, that means something. The breakfast tacos blew me away with the hand-made tortillas and satisfying fillings, but the papitas on the side were what sent me over. Their food transported me home! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here for breakfast, and if you can’t make it all the way out to Adrian you could always try to catch their food truck somewhere in southeast Michigan! I know I’ll be trying to!
