From Kansas city. Been here in Tulsa this time for 4 months now. Wanted to eat for I haven’t eaten all day, & what can I say…. Other than it was a delightful and delicious experience, minus the baked beans. Now granted, the baked beans were not nasty, however they were not unto my liking LOL… I definitely recommend, and I will be back numerous of times to try out everything else ️

I have celiac disease and I find it hard to go out to eat here in Tulsa, but I always know Billy Sims is a she place for me. I get the loaded Spud with brisket and Shena always makes sure that I am not exposed to any gluten. She understands the seriousness of the disease. She takes personal pride in not getting any of her customers sick and is always a bright light when we enter. The food is amazing. Best BBQ in Tulsa. Best customer service I have ever had.

We ordered a smoked ham for Thanksgiving and I think it was the best ham I’ve ever had the pleasure to serve and eat. I got so many compliments from the entire extended family and there was enough leftover for me to have a few sandwiches and freeze some smaller pieces for casseroles. Highly recommend

So, arrived 258 pm. Asked for lunch special which ends at 3. ONLY customer in store. Told can’t have lunch special cause after 3. I asked really as was now 259. Denied again. Being a Sr. Don’t want or need a full dinner. In my opinion pretty poor decision for a restaurant that was empty. I would have just left if not for my wife being hungry, but will probably find another place to get BBq.

I have eaten here about 3 times in the last month. I have tried the Heisman each time, once with brisket and twice with pulled pork. Each time it has been really good. I like the pulled pork better. Generous amount of meat, fresh bun and good sides. The staff is friendly, tables are clean and it is a nice place to sit and relax. You don’t have to overpay for BBQ!

Billy Sims BBQ is the place to be in Tulsa. Always great service to match the great quality of the food and atmosphere! You can’t go wrong with any chosen meat they offer but I always sway to the ribs! And with three styles of sauce to chose from your taste buds will for sure be dazzled!

At the last minute we decided to order food for Independence Day. We contacted Billy Sims on South Sheridan and they came through. We live in Sand Springs but always drive to the South Sheridan location in Tulsa. Say what you will this location is ALWAYS good and WAY better than the other Bill Sims locations. On short notice they put together food for around 30 people for our family get together. They were courteous , fast and professional. The food, as always, was excellent! Wouldn’t go to any other location.

Went here today and was quite pleased with the experience. The restaurant was very clean and spacious, a nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly and courteous. The food came out hot in legit about 30 seconds after we ordered. The bbq was dam tasty and cooked well, had a nice mix of tender meat with some good crispy bark on it. The baked beans and toast weren’t the best I ever had but still an acceptable quality. The pickle was better than expected, had a nice crunch to it, not too salty — just right. Will definitely be coming back!
