I reached out to Peggy’s Diner and spoke with Michael about a large breakfast order for around 20 people to kick off a busy wedding day for my daughter. Michael was not only pleasant to speak with, but he was ready to meet our needs and boy did he! Michael and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and breakfast was delicious! I don’t live close to Peggy’s Diner, but I have a strong feeling I’ll be driving back to support them and enjoy more meals soon.

What a lovely find for breakfast! Searched Google for ‘good breakfast near me’ and it told me to get my behind here. This is a true country diner, serving real Southern foods. It is breakfast until 11 and then meat n’ three for midday meal. The eggs are country fresh, the pancakes are light and crispy, the country ham is to die for, and the fried pork chop was a home run. The prices are as enjoyable as the food they serve. I think I may have found a new favorite spot.

We walked in around 9am and the restaurant was almost full. Luckily we found a table and ordered country breakfast. Coffee, biscuit, scrambled eggs, bacon… everything was delicious. The staff were also really friendly and considerate. I got s taste of a great city of Greer in South Carolina.

Oh my GOODNESS!! This place is worth the trip. I would say this is one of the best meat and three restaurants in all of Greenville county. This is true country homemade cooking at it’s best. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The cook cones out to make sure you got exactly what you wanted. It’s like sitting down at Grandma’s house and getting everything you ever wanted to eat. Go to Peggy’s, you’ll thank me later!

THIS IS WHAT I THINK OF WHEN I THINK OF AMERICA. This place is a “mom&pop” diner with friendy atmosphere that makes you feel like family from the second you walk in. Although it’s a perfect example of it, this place offers more than just Southern Charm & Hometown Hospitality, this is one of the few places left that you dont “get what you pay for” but in a positve way. Portion sizes are generous and the food was cooked to perfection!
10/10 would recommend. You can tell Peggy put her foot in it cause she passed the passion along to her son.

Who is giving this place 4 and 5 star reviews!? This is the type of place you only go because you’ve been coming for 50 years and you meet your other senior friends there.
The food is completely mediocre. Ambiance is like an old VFW hall or something. Nobody came over to see how my food was or clear anything while eating.
I got pancakes, eggs and a biscuit. Pancakes were quite good and eggs are eggs. The biscuit was room temperature and crumbly.
Coffee was a bit weak but I typically like that anyway.
And they don’t have butter here. I really have a hard time with breakfast places that don’t offer real butter and just have that margarine poison.
