An absolutely delightful French restaurant we tried on a whim. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, the wine and other drinks delicious, and a really nice atmosphere. The restaurant is upscale without being pretentious, so you can come in a suit or you can come in jeans.

The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent. We got French onion soup and Caesar salad salad with chicken. And the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The waitress, Brook, was the turn off here. She had a very poor attitude and never came to check on anything. Every time we wanted something we had to flag her down and she often ignored us. When it came time to pay the bill we paid with a $100 bill. The check total came to $48. We waited 15-20 minutes for our change and she just kept walking past us. We finally flagged her over and told her we were still waiting for change and she said the bar was having a difficult time breaking $100 bill. She could have kept us informed of that and we would’ve paid by credit card. She was just unpleasant the entire time.

Came in had my birthday dinner which my fiancé who has been there before recommended the filet.. the 3 out of 4 of us got the filet which was the best I swear on cape cod!!! the chef even came out to appreciate our compliments. This was by far the most tasty meal I’ve ever had and all four of us agree how amazing this was and the atmosphere plus chef took time to make this day special. The waitress plus chef gave us such an enjoying meal! Legit the best meal and wouldn’t had got this anywhere else 🙂 thanks for a great time and giving us the attention! And making the birthday special

Lately when I’m traveling I’ve been asking Google for food within 5 miles and I have not been disappointed. I wanted brunch with a full bar. Not only was Bleu close by but they just so happen to have a Jazz Brunch! My cocktail was a magnificent caramel coffee. The hot coffee warmed my soul on such a chilly afternoon. We shared a crock of the French Onion Soup to start and both ordered the Benedict. The brunch menu may look small, but I still had a hard time choosing from the delicious options. The music and atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

As a lunch meeting place a total winner, sophisticated without being pretentious, ample room, airy and well lit.
The only dissonant chord was the choice of heavy black trim on the interiors, which combined with a grayish blue, cast a sombre tone more in keeping with the sludge in the Caspian Sea, than the Mediterranean coast it should have evoked.

Service was helpful but not exactly prompt. Long lapse between appetizers and main.
Prices were reasonable.

My starter was a generous portion of foie gras au torchon, a cylindrical shape made by wrapping the liver in a dishtowel. Served with plenty of toasted cranberry, walnut bread, coarse pink salt, apricot jam and a mini bundle of fresh mini green.
I should have stopped eating after it, but had already ordered
the shrimp with white peaches as my entrée which was so sweet that it felt like we were having a cloying dessert (way too heavy on the orange cilantro glaze and no citrus to cut down the sugar overload)

At my friends insistence and against my better instinct we shared a rice pudding which was like adding condensed milk to a palate already overwhelmed by fructose.

We ate dinner here on a Friday night in the off season. Plenty busy but not too loud or crowded to enjoy the meal. Service was on point and food came out quickly. However the food was four star at best. The cod chowder was pretty bad—fish overcooked, bacon soggy, leeks undercooked and crunchy, food cut in too large of a chunk size for easy eating with a spoon, broth thin, and flavor bland. Escargot and duck breast reportedly good. My steak was good, but calling it au poivre is a stretch. The risotto was undercooked, which is criminally basic. The asparagus was a bit overcooked. The dessert we ordered, tarte tatin, was not bad but also not terribly good. French cuisine is literally what they teach in cooking school, so it’s a bit sad when it’s only average or below average execution.

Came back after awhile away, so happy that the ahi tuna was back ! Also loved the new additions to the menu…the pork loin was beyond words…. I can’t express the delicious flavor & tenderness of the pork loin, also amazing savory additions of vegetables & Cabernet sauce to the dish. Truly delicious!

We spent a summer week on the Cape, Mashpee, specifically. We brunched at Bleu our first morning to have a belated Father’s Day celebration. We sat at a patio table and started with drinks. My mimosa was excellent. I like them with more than a drip of OJ and a solid champagne taste. All the drinks were good. I ordered the steak fritte and it was delicious. My wife and daughters ordered different seafood plates, all delicious. The service was excellent – kind, attentive, and interactive. The prices are $$ to $$$. The overall experience was very positive so the higher price was worth it. It’s nice to walk around and visit the stores afterwards – helps digest too. I’d go back to Bleu anytime for brunch.

Beautiful restaurant inside and out. There were so many different vibes in one space, from bright, to darker and moody, as well as the patio, all stunning. My boyfriend and I sat out on the patio as the weather was gorgeous. The service was perfect as well as the food. I had the herb crusted haddock, and my bf had the filet. I forgot to take a pic of the bread and butter, but it was adorable little balls of butter as well as an olive tapenade. Wow I didn’t know an olive spread could taste so good! Both of our meals tasted so fresh and delicious. For dessert we had the hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (like a lava cake) which had more of a dark chocolate flavor to it. We also had the strawberry champagne sorbet and it was to die for. I would literally go back just for that! The check even came with 2 chocolate truffles, so cute. 10/10 recommend this spot for date night.

Loved our experience here!! Kate was a wonderful bartender – she was very kind and also fun. We really enjoyed the espresso martini and vodka martini. The escargot was the best I’ve ever had. The mussels were pretty good – I wouldn’t order them again, but they were good. The vibe was right. I would totally return here again!
