1. Tacos gobernador: Some of the best I’ve had. Served simply, excellent handmade tortillas and fresh shrimp. The cheese was melted perfectly.
2. Aguachile (red): Very good. My only criticism that it was a bit over salted. I’d cut way back on the salt. The heat was perfect and it was extremely fresh.
3. Drinks: Decent drinks, but they took a long time (about 20 min).
4. Service: Outstanding. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to accommodate our friend with celiac. For such a busy place, the level of attention was excellent.
Only complaint is that, as is often the case in Mexico, nothing comes out together. You will often get your appetizer and food before your guests get anything. This is one area that could use improvement, is timing.
Overall, 5/5 can’t wait to come back. Best seafood I’ve had in Puebla in 3 years.
We had a shrimp torta with bacon, jalapeño chili tacos stuffed with marlin, and pescadillas with shrimp aguachile.

This is a nice place to eat and stop for good seafood and beer. I love “pescadillas” this in particular are very delicious but It is not my best due to de sweet sauce they put on top, if you love classic pescadillas make sure you ask them to avoid it before served.

As a drink I would recommend a Michelado (it’s beer with salsa, lime and chillies) amazing.
Our waiter Beto was super kind and helped us for visiting sites in Cholula.
