Absolutely fell in love with this place the second I saw the building. The service is phenomenal – genuinely friendly and so proud of the food they’re making. Everything is made in house. The tortillas are exquisite. The tamales are incredible. Finally the pork green chili is exceptional. I’ve been back into Detroit for a couple of weeks and can’t stop thinking about this place.

The tortillas, beans are so good. But $7.25 for a plain burrito is ridiculous. Plus the lady that is there makes them half as big as the guy who owns it. I enjoy this place but 2 plain burritos for almost $20 no thanks.

I recently discovered Camargos thanks to a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did! This unassuming spot is a true hidden treasure.
I sampled three burritos: the beef and rellino, the beef and Carnes desaperda, and the classic bean and cheese. Each one was a delicious surprise. The handmade flour tortillas were the perfect vessel for the generously filled, flavorful contents. I loved the option of having the chilled sauce either inside or outside the burrito.
The burritos were massive and packed with flavor. If you find yourself in Denver, Camargos is an absolute must-try!
