Everyone was super nice! They speak Spanish and English. They do carry out as well. The best salsa I’ve had in a very long time. They also have cows tongue. A good variety for vegetarian options as well

Cuñao means brother in law for any of you that are curious
I had the torta con pollo or the chicken sandwich. It was DELICIOUS. Sandwich was made to order and only took 3-4 minutes.
The torta de pollo was Served on a bun equivalent to a large burger bun – and it comes buttered & toasted! NOM! Also came with hearty portions of avocado, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños and chicken that is ground (not a molded patty). To be completely honest next time I’ll likely order with extra meat but plenty by default for normal folk.
Lots of other options in addition to the torta. You have your basics like quesadillas, nachos, burritos. But also more authentic dishes Iike pambaso, huarache, Asada fries, tostados, gorditas, sopes and more.
As far as the proteins, they’ve got plenty of options: beef head, tongue, steak, chicken, seasoned/pulled pork, beef tripe, sausage, shrimp, etc.
I think next time I’ll try the Pambaso!

You really cannot pick a better place to have lunch. Fresh, hot food. Fast service. I always get the carne asada tacos with verde salsa, an order of chips and queso and a Mexican cane sugar Coke!
A lot of places have this issue where they either overcook the meat or use a really cheap cut that makes it tough and chewy. I have never had that problem here! Big portions as well. You seriously cannot go wrong here.

Got some food to go while up here in vacation. The beans were water with about 3 half beans in them and their meat has zero flavor. Not worth the $15 for 3 tacos, rice, beans, and a 12 oz can of Dr pepper. Ended up tossing most of it

This is a scaled down menu from the sit down restaurant in Chattanooga, but the main menu offerings taste great. The tostadas are on a crispy shell with flavorful beef, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. You can always count on being served the freshest vegetables at Tacos El Cunao. The chips were freshly made and hot and the guacamole was also fresh and flavorful with a little kick. The only downfall to this location is the outdoor seating, which can be warm on a hot day. They do a great takeout business and the staff is very friendly.

It’s been awhile but a 1 star they deserve cause a large burrito is suppose to be LARGE and I pay for extra meat got home looking forward to a beautiful large burrito after a long day all for a burrito size of a tortilla very very very disappointed, done with that dirty food truck… time for an inspection inside out…

They are open in the snow! And have great lingua ❤️ me and my husband come from Chattanooga to Cleveland just for this spot. The one in Brainerd isn’t as good. This is like the original best tacos.

It was a cold day for tacos, but that didn’t stop me from eating outside in the perfect metal hut. I got the shrimp tostado and chips and guac, and my boyfriend got the chicken and steak tostado. Our meal was so good it was worth sitting in 40 degree weather.
