Though the restaurant has been here awhile, we hadn’t been in. On a dreary weekday evening we finally came in for dinner. The dining room is very vibrant and colorful. We got service at a high top table right away. We were served chips & salsa(s) and ordered a couple cocktails. The margaritas were fantastic. For dinner we got a couple different tacos and the chicken tinga burrito, both very good. I like this place. With good service & thoughtfully cooked food you cannot ask for more. Five stars.

Delicious Mexican food! Highly recommend tacos or Fajitas. Margaritas was good too. Will be back to try more varieties of drinks. Tacos Tuesdays 1/2 price tacos and Margarita specials. Tried El Pato for the first time for dinner. The bartender was pleasant, knowledgeable and entertaining. Had a delicious margarita and chicken fajitas. Homemade corn tortillas were delicious. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.

We visited for lunch on a Saturday. Not much crowd on this day. We sat inside but they had some tables setup on their deck which is a nice option to have.
Overall…service and staff were friendly and great. Food was very good, nothing “great”. Pricey tacos with not much meat included in each one. Margaritas were good…but again prices are high for small glasses.
Overall good experience and we will definitely go back.

Food was excellent–everything from the variety of salsas with chips, to burritos, to churros. Server was very friendly and attentive. One of the best margaritas I’ve ever had!!! (Margarita Tradicional–fresh lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and only a hint of simple syrup–not a pre mix!) vibe is excellent and music is not too loud. Will definitely be back!

My nephew and I were literally there first customer. We absolutely loved everything we had. We ordered 4 different tacos each was better than the next. I wish I would have kept better track of what we tried. The menu is really innovative and extremely different. We will definitely be back. They did a phenomenal job on the build out. Great addition to the Downtown Dundee.

Finally got a chance to go to this place it’s been there for about a year excellent food excellent atmosphere and great service.
They make their chips and tortillas there so they are fresh.
Great ingredients nice spices they make their own hot sauce.
You have a great selection of tequila and also have a good selection of Mexican beers.
Will definitely go back to this place many times I also have a place in the back to sit outdoors
