Firstly, our server Katie was WONDERFUL.
The chips and salsa was delicious as always.
Crappy portions for our assemble your own taco/quesadillas. I don’t want to pay that much for Cisco food, meager portions and cute plates. I’ve been to the Superica in Charlotte many times and this was my first time at the Strawberry Hill location, of course my expectations were high based on previous visits to the other location.
The SHOCK I had when I opened my quesadillas to see 2 strips of well done steak when I asked for medium rare was such a travesty.

We have been going to Suprerica Tex-Mex in Charlotte over a year. We usually get the lunch Specials which is the perfect size meal. The Tommy’s margarita is made fresh and is very refreshing. The Service is always Excellent and the food is made from fresh, healthy ingredients. The green and red salsas are tasty and not too spicy. Highly recommend!

B.E.S.T. Chile Relleno ever. All the food was fresh, generous portions, but not so generous that you had to buy new clothes.
Love the outdoor patio in this weather and great parking at this location. Though the patio was full, we were able to have a really comfortable conversation because tables are spaced far enough apart.
I was just meeting a friend for a cozy catch up and I would definitely do the same again here.

SUNDAY…
I got a call earlier today from Carrie, one of the managers.
She was very concerned about my dining experience and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with her sincerity and positive attitude.
The key take away is that all businesses especially restaurants make mistakes, the important point is how they deal with them.
As far as I am concerned SUPERICA and Carrie in particular did an exemplary job.

The good:
Carrie did a great job taking the “pick up” order. She was patient and knowledgeable about the menu.
The pork fajita was a good size portion and delicious. Same with the pork taco.
Megan did a great job at the pick up area. She was friendly and professional.
The bad:
One of the items I ordered was a brisket taco. I paid approximately $16 and received a single skimpy taco with a small piece of meat.
I called twice last night and left my name and phone number and no one had the courtesy to call me back.

I recently moved from Austin and have been on the hunt for Mexican. After many disappointing meals and horrible margaritas, I found Superica and damn, I was in heaven! The owner of the restaurant group is from Houston, where I also lived for a few months before my move to Charlotte. Everything from the margaritas I tried -Pomegranate and Tommy’s. Both excellent! The beef nachos delicious. Their chips are light and crispy and their salas very good.
I sat at the bar and received excellent service from Megan the bartender. She was very knowledgeable about the cocktails and made delicious ones. I will be a regular here, despite the 30 minute drive. Totally worth it!

Uff lime at least it was three days old. I ordered a burger, medium, and it was well done. The butter for the fajitas is still frozen. The french fries is still on the cook so is The the flower tortillas? I was there at 3:30 or 415 only two tables and three people on the bar. It was a manager on the bar. She was incredible. just had to share the incredible experience I had with this restaurant. Last Sunday, I ordered through DoorDash and there was a mix-up: my steak fajitas arrived as chicken, which I can’t eat. When I called the store, I spoke to the AGM, Kelly, who was amazing. She immediately arranged to have the correct meal—along with fresh sides—delivered right to my door. And then Kelly herself actually brought it over, added a complimentary appetizer, a little succulent (which is now happily in my window), refunded my entire order, and even included a handwritten card!! Honestly, she didn’t have to go that far, but she turned a little mix-up into such a warm, above-and-beyond gesture. Instead of losing me as a customer, Kelly’s kindness and care locked me in!! and by the way, these were the best fajitas I’ve ever had in my life.

We had a great experience at Superica last night! The steak fajitas were incredible. The homemade tortillas and Mexican butter were awesome. We also loved the complimentary chips and salsa verde—the salsa was fresh and flavorful. It was a busy night, but all of the staff was very kind and took great care of us. Our server Katie was very attentive and bubbly, she was wonderful!

Unhappy with the new menu. Definitely the serving size is smaller. We ordered the large portion steak fajitas ($54) and didn’t get nearly the amount of meat that we used to get. Our favorite before the menu overhaul was the steak, chicken, and shrimp combo. We would got a phenomenal amount of protein-as we should have because it was a $59 charge. . It was perfect for the two of us.. They removed the shrimp from the combo and pulled back on the price by a few dollars, but require $10 to add the shrimp that they had removed. So, we didn’t order the steak and chicken combo – now $56, and instead ordered all-steak large portion$54- We didn’t get anywhere near the amount of protein we used to for a large portion and left hungry, so we won’t return. However, the steak is perfectly prepared. So if you have a lot of money and don’t care that you might leave hungry, then order the steak fajitas. Our server was phenomenal. I was especially disappointed because my husband was looking forward so much to his favorite meal. I don’t know how much more protein we would’ve gotten if we had paid two dollars more for the steak-chicken combo, but I’d be curious to find out. All I know is when the plate came to our table. It looked like half the amount of protein that used to be piled up on the plate..
