The carne en su jugo plate is absolutely amazing. The broth is rich and flavorful, the meat is tender, and the toppings bring everything together perfectly. It’s comforting, authentic, and easily one of the best versions I’ve had.
Great food, great service, and a true taste of tradition. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve ate there for both breakfast and dinner. The food never disappoints. The service is ok but the staff isn’t very attentive. It can be very loud at times im not big on that kind atmosphere. Overall its a decent spot with authentic Mexican food. Ill always go back for the amazing food.

I got a breakfast burrito and an asada taco very good. Prices were pretty high though. 4.50 for a fountain drink is outrageous. Food prices were alot more than I expected for a place I had been to before the remodel and now its at least 5 bucks more. I feel like I’m helping pay for the remodel

Absolutely disgusting. We stopped here on our way through Waco and we’re shocked on just how bad the food was. The children’s chicken fingers and the Nacos were burned. The meat was hard and all other food had no flavor. Everything was very bland tasting. We were very disappointed. An enchilada plate comes with rice and beans and a taco and the beans tasted awful and the taco seemed it was just packed with the refried beans. We will not be coming back. I would recommend Mercados Mexican restaurant on Burnet road in Austin.

Bit into the Birria taco and pulled out what looked like and artery. Birria is supposed to be beef. This is chicken, rat, or cat ect. No clue but definitely disgusting. Overpriced mixed animal meat

The homemade salsa is excellent and perfect amount of flavor and spice. The chips were brought out warm.
The queso was a bit runny but really good. Right amount of cheese and spice.
Chicken taco plate came with guacamole and was well seasoned.
Chimichanga was perfect. And very filling.
The Tostadas de Ceviche… OMGOSH. The best. The Tostadas are fresh made and don’t get soggy or break into pieces. They stay while and crispy. They give a lot of Ceviche on each Tostada.
Wait staff and chef are a delight.
Bathroom needs a lot is work. Toilet paper roll, faucets and walls need to be remodeled.
When traveling through, we will be back.

This is a hole in the wall type of place. Off the radar but so incredibly delicious!! The salsa tastes as if they just made it from scratch in the kitchen right before bringing it out. The tortillas also tasted homemade and of the best quality. The service was great and they have a massive outdoor patio which is great for big groups. I order the burrito plate and the portions were massive i could barely finish. It was stuffed full of chicken and beef rather than other places which don’t out a lot of food in the burrito. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. The margaritas were also delicious!! I will definitely be going back soon!
