Well, hate to keep bashing on Long John’s, but here we are again.
Ordered my usual 3 chicken, 2 fish combo with fries and coleslaw.
Had a bit of a wait, but there occasionally is there if you want your food cooked right.
Initial problem was that there was only 2 prices of chicken in the box.
2nd problem was that one of the pieces of chicken wasn’t much bigger than one of the vinegar packets.
3rd problem was the other piece of chicken was so grisly, I couldn’t even eat it.
And 4th problem was the coleslaw was warm.
Ended up eating the 2 pieces of fish, a few of the fries and threw the rest in the trash.
This is getting disheartening from a life long Long John’s fan.

Hush puppies were way over cooked. I’m not sure if everything didnt drain long enough after cooking or what, but there were puddles of oil under everything. The taste was great. The workers were phenomenal. That’s a rare treat for sure.

The long johns AW in Marion is the best! Sometimes it can be a longer wait but it is the BEST quality fast food in town. I have never gotten a wrong order. The fries are always crispy. The burgers are amazing. The fish and chicken are always well cooked. This restaurant is CONSISTENT, FRIENDLY, ACCURATE, and most importantly delicious!y husband and I visit once or twice a month and order from both menus and have never had a bad meal!

Hasn’t been swept or mopped in look likes days- trash over flowing and the old man with gray hair at the front cash register stood there and did nothing. Then went to the restroom, smoke break and everything else besides assisting with food orders. Very unfortunate.

We ordered 2 meals and 2 small drinks…$35 (expensive)
The tables has crumbs on most of them as well as on the seats. Took about 17 minutes to get our food and we were the only ones inside. The tartar sauce in the dining room was out and the worker behind the counter said it wasn’t his job and went to get someone else. We ordered a piece of cheesecake and they forgot to give it to us. We asked 3 times and then stood at the counter before someone by the fryer came and got it.
VERY UNORGANIZED and a mess. The food was cold and just a big disappointment. Very sad as this used to be our favorite place.

The drive thru was 20 mins. The lady at drive thru never apologized for the wait and I had a question as my drink was not cold and she was in a bad mood.

Loved the service and overall taste of the food but my group had an order that only had hush puppies requested as both of the sides and we were informed that we’d receive 14 hush puppies including, the 2 it already came with, and we only received 9. Also ordered 2 fish and 6 shrimp and only received 3 shrimp, what the heck was that about? Probably won’t dine in again hopefully to avoid the food shortage from what we paid for! Definitely Frustrating!
