Food was absolutely delicious. Tried 3 appetizers and two noodle bowls. Hot fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. We went during early lunch 11:30 am and had no problems getting a seat. Dining area however is on the smaller side. They also have take out. Overall great Ramen place in anchorage!

Naruto in Anchorage is a must-visit for ramen lovers. The ramen was absolutely fabulous—rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles that really hit the spot. The portions were satisfying, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall experience was excellent. I’ll definitely be back for more.

The food was nice and warm, the portions were huge and the taste was good. It wasn’t as spicy as in Japan. The atmosphere was ok and the service was good, but nothing special.

Had the Naruto miso ramen and tuna sushi. The ramen was actually really good – rich broth and perfect noodles. Tuna was fresh and well cut.
Small place with anime posters on the walls which was cool. Cozy atmosphere, not too loud. Staff was nice and responsive.

was pretty disappointed when the eggs were hard boiled and not 6.5 minute eggs like usually come with ramen, but the broth was alright and the portion was huge for excellent value. the service was okay, didn’t have to wait too long to place an order but we did have to flag down our server when we needed some more water. the location was more spacious than some competitors like kami for sure, which most likely helped lead to us not having to wait for a table. not my favorite, but I would probably come here again.

If you’re looking for a stunningly authentic Japanese restaurant just south of downtown Anchorage with stellar ramen and gyoza and other dishes for as reasonable a set of prices as you can expect these days, you’ve found it in Naruto.
They make their ramen exactly as it’s made in Japan, not Americanized at all. It’s fantastic. The gyoza is fresh and rice just right. The tempura is light and excellent.
The service is good and the food came out quickly.

The food is great, but the woman who I believe is one of the owners consistently comes across as unfriendly. It feels like customer interaction is an inconvenience — as if the focus is solely on serving food and collecting payment rather than creating a welcoming experience. The environment plays a big role in how the food is enjoyed, and her attitude unfortunately takes away from that experience.

If you don’t mind waiting after the open up right away, definitely check this place out! Customer service is spot on and the place is clean! One of the better tasting ramen joints for sure. Before we moved up here, we had a ramen joint we loved but was a tad salty but this, chefs kiss. The cut of their pork is very savory and melts in your mouth. Broth, is spot on, even for the more sensitive taste buds of a child. Sushi was delicious even though, yes it is just a Cali roll. We almost came a second time the next day.

We had just arrived in Anchorage, tired and hungry, and this was our first stop. Based on the name alone (thanks to my son the Naruto Anime super-fan). We were definitely not disappointed. They have the BEST curry I’ve ever had! The depth of flavor was intense and I loved it! My son got the Naruto Ramen and the broth was fantastic. It wasn’t greasy and held all the ingredients together very well. I will be back for the curry before we leave the area for sure!
