We went for the Valentine’s Day visit and received a special Valentine’s menu, which had some really cool selections. We were mentally prepared to try the original menu items so we will most likely go back again and check out their normal menu as well as possibly the bar area to see how their bourbon selection plays out. Perfect comfort food! Great service and very clean! Our first time. Fried mushrooms best I’ve ever had ! Really good local beer also! Walkers stout was really good! Just good comfort food done slightly higher than you would expect!

We chose to sit outside in the covered screen porch area since it was cool outside. It was perfect overlooking the water and the food was perfect. We ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer and Shrimp n Grits for the entrée. We left with a full to go box. A+. Highly recommend.

My family went at lunch to BBH. We liked the new location and the view of the river. The service was excellent and we were checked on frequently. Our meals were very good and we were pleased with what we had there. I would have liked bread to come with the 3 entrees, that is my only small issue. Otherwise would definitely recommend and plan to return.

BBH is located on the Flint River and offers delicious food along with a beautiful view of the river. You can sit inside and see the river or sit outside on a screened in porch for a nice view of the river. They have a huge menu with a variety of choices to suit everyone’s taste. We enjoyed the fresh grilled shrimp for our meal that was prepared just right. Service was great and the restaurant was very clean. There is plenty of parking and handicap accessible to get into the restaurant easily.

A very interesting place on the Flint river, I sat outside. It was nice and peaceful, the food was a strong average. Abby is a great server, the drinks were good. If you look at that picture of the shrimp tacos, you’ll see that there were actually just three small pieces of shrimp in each taco, cut in half. Mostly it was just lettuce. They did add pickled jalapenos at my request, which was nice if I go back, I might try something on the beef side.

Visited this place based on the reviews since we were in the area traveling up Hwy 27 towards Dothan. Thought it would be nice to have lunch with my wife with a view of the lake, plus again, the reviews were saying the food was very good. When we got there, it was in the middle of lunch. We stood up front at the host area, took a while for anyone to acknowledge us. But they were busy so no problem. We asked for seating outside, but they said it was unavailable at that time. There were people sitting out there and tables were open, but for whatever reason both me and the couple behind us were told it was not available and we’d have to be eat inside. Very disappointing since we don’t live here to come back again soon.
I ordered the classic burger. My wife got the tacos. The burger was good. But if you ever had a cheeseburger that sat for a while to the point where the cheese was no longer melty, instead it was room temperature. As were the fries. Things have to be really bad for me to send food back. I just don’t trust that process and what happens to your food when it’s out of sight in the back, so I ate it. My wife did not enjoy the taste of her tacos either.
It took about 30 minutes from the time we were seated, before our food was in front of us. That wasn’t too long for me but if your hungry and impatient, hopefully your experience is faster.
Based on the numerous glowing reviews, we would try this place again, but I’d call ahead first to make sure they have their outside seating open, and I’d try something else on the menu. Oh, and the sweet tea was great!

The company I work for reserved a table for 16 people for a retirement luncheon. We booked the reservation the afternoon before without any issues. The service was excellent—Chrystal, our server, did a phenomenal job keeping our drinks full and making everyone feel welcome. I knew the instant I found out about the luncheon that we needed Chrystal as our server, as she always goes above and beyond. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you, BBH and Chrystal, for a great time!

I ate their late summer on a nice nite at sunset and had good food, and me and my girlfriend watched a bass fisherman hauling ass up the river trying to beat the dark that was fast approaching. Since I love good seafood, and a good view and atmosphere; all I can say is, it doesn’t get much better than that.
