Best Hawaiian Place I’ve found in and around Denver! I’ve eaten here and literally all of the food I’ve had has been fantastic. From the Loco Moco, to the Spam Musubi, the Kalbi ribs, the teriyaki beef and chicken, ALL OF IT IS FANTASTIC! Don’t go to the chain Hawaiian places, go to Today Hawaii!

I don’t want to talk down about this restaurant but, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing true Hawaiian food the mac salad was atrocious as far as Island standard. The short ribs we’re good, Kahlua pork was good all their fried stuff not great. The pork Katsu my son said I make it better. Katsu sauce not great, teriyaki sauce not good, pretty much all their side sauces are not good. They could do a lot better, but it seems like this restaurant is more on the Japanese Korean side then it is the true Hawaiian side. Meaning they’re just trying to build on the American idealism of Island food. As for the interior of the place I would have expected much more. The food is good though as long as you don’t know what great Hawaiian food taste like.

The best Hawaiian food I have had in Denver so far. I went with a good friend who lived in Hawaii growing up, and he agrees. Portions were very good and everything tasted amazing. Its not fancy, but it is authentic.

Usually love this place, but our last few visits have been pretty disappointing. Ordered a small BBQ chicken and the popcorn chicken, and asked for a bit of extra char on the BBQ chicken because they tend to rush sometimes and undercook the chicken. When they char it and cook it through? Some of the best food in the area. When they don’t, which is usually the case? Absolutely awful. Just a pile of grey, pink in the middle mess.
My request was completely disregarded, they gave us undercooked BBQ chicken with 0 char whatsoever (the photos of the item have a beautiful char, yet that’s rarely the case with actual orders) and the popcorn chicken wasn’t crispy at all, just a soggy, undercooked & frankly disgusting mess. Couldn’t even finish it. You could tell they rushed through cooking the order, and didn’t really seem to care much when we called to inform them of the issue. For what they charge, you’d expect a bit more care put into the preparation. Especially when you specifically ask them to. They’re gonna end up killing someone with the way they insist on undercooking chicken. One of our favorite spots when prepared the right way, but whoever’s been in the kitchen lately needs to give it a bit more time.

To be honest this was the worst most overdone Loco Moco I’ve ever eaten. The rice was a little hard due to being in the warmer to long. My buddy had the Chicken Katsu and said we would probably rate it a 2.5 compared to other Hawaiian BBQ we’ve had. The Mac Salad however was the best thing we ate and we would go back for seconds on that. Won’t be going back to this one.

Ordered through Doordash. I’m so impressed with the macaroni salad! It’s not overpowering at all! The Large Teriyaki was made perfectly. Rice is sticky and wonderfully made. The extra sauce was a bonus, and the chicken was made to perfection. Will order again or stop in soon! Kudos to the chef!

My favorite here is the bbq chicken cooled ro perfection. The regular place is plenty but if really hungry or want to have some left overs probably the large would suit you. Most of the food here is good the mac salad could be better but most places dont compare to HI. Also tried the katsu a while back and that was a bit thin even though texture and breading was good. Service is very quick and food always tastes drwshly cooked amd cooked amd prepared very tender.
