Ive recently moved to Ocoee and ive been trying every sushi spot there is. Takumi is my favorite so far! Ive returned multiple times. Their lunch specials are generous and delicious! The best takoyaki ive had in the states, crisp on the outside creamy and flavorful inside with a perfect amount of bonito flakes and sauce.
This time I opted for their takumi roll, which was HUGE for the price! I especially like their rice paper substitute for seaweed. I like seaweed but my partner does not, so this was a very nice surprise option.
The place is very spacious and clean, with fun decor. Though a bit big and open, so not very cozy. It’s never been busy when ive gone, but i choose to eat out during nonconventional hours. Our server is always pleasant and attentive.
I highly recommend trying their affordable bento hibachi lunch!

This was mid. I wasn’t overly or underly impressed. The sushi was okay. The atmosphere was okay. There was only one person working the sushi line at 7pm on a Wednesday and only one hostess. Granted they were nice, but why was there no volume at dinner time? There was only one person seated at this time in the whole restaurant as well. My boyfriend said his had no flavor. Mine did, but it was okay.

Food was absolutely disgusting. When I walked into this restaurant it smelled like gasoline. I’m disappointed I actually spent money here. I for sure won’t be returning here. Why was the salad dressing so thick and so much water juice at the bottom. I hope I don’t get sick after eating this food.

The restaurant looks kind of empty because half of it has no seating. The seating that’s in there is a little dated and some more decorations would help liven the environment.
Overall our food was good, I was disappointed that chicken is not any of the noodles soup options.

Delicious food. Sushi is actually the correct size rather than huge portions of rice, the bagel roll is perfection. However, the atmosphere and level of service feels very disjointed when compared to the quality of food. I waited nearly an hour for a 2 person dinner when the restaurant was basically empty – i was told they were busy. Maybe uber orders? Idk. But then we were not offered refills on drinks during our wait, no updates were provided on when our food would be out, we were given no soy sauce, amd after we asked for it were given no dishes for it. There is no drink menu – neither for alcoholic or non-alcoholic, and when I asked about their hot tea options the waitress offered a tea they didn’t have. The seating area also has an odd smell from when you first walk in, and the floors were sticky. I will only do take out from here for the near future. My hope is that the dining service will improve in the future.

In the area and decided to give this place a try for lunch. We ordered shumai, spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, cali roll and chicken hibachi lunch special. Rolls tasted good, the perfect size not too big or too small. The chicken hibachi was also good. Service was great very friendly.

The chirashi bowl was really great. All of the fish were tasty and very fresh. Regrettably, some of the sushi (especially the alaska roll) didnt have enough fish to let enjoy its freshness. Im happy to find a spot that prioritizes freshness to sauces and cream cheese and i look forward to trying more of their menu
