Food is exactly what you expected to get. We all enjoyed our meals. The place was clean and bright. Issue was that they screwed our order up three times resulting in one person not being feed. Easy fix but opted out of it.
Side note, this DQ location has in Burley as no bathroom! There are two blue porta potties outside to use. They said the bathrooms were down but the potties outside to have been there awhile based on the weeds growing around them.

When we first walked in we were looking at the cakes and the staff was arguing out loud with each other, They continued to do so even after they saw us. They didn’t even care that there were customers in there. Then one of them yelled to the other one, “just go eat a freakin powdered donut ok!” My husband & I shook our heads in disbelief and rolled our eyes and continued to look at the cakes.
I picked out a 10” cake to purchase and asked if they could write on the cake while we ate our blizzards. The kid at the counter asked the girl behind him if she could write on the cake and she said “no!” When he asked her why, she said “because I don’t feel like it!” Needless to say I put the cake back! They didn’t care! They missed out on a 10” cake purchase because they “didn’t “feel like it” and they didn’t care! I really wish the Burley owners would start caring about their store and care about how their employees treat their customers. We keep giving them chance after chance, but now our chances of ever going back there are 0%.
You could learn a few things from the Rupert Store!

Food was cold, restaurant snuck extra charges for fry sauce into order and when we asked for clarity, their manager was rude and condescending, 1st explaining that the decision was his to charge for fry sauce because he is focused on the store’s financial performance. We pointed out that he was the only Dairy Queen in the valley that charges for fry sauce and recommended that he either lists such charges on the menu or at least had his order takers inform customers about the charges and he stated that he feels it’s the customers duty to ask if their being charged for condiments. There’s a lot of fast food options for us when visiting Burley and I don’t believe we’ll be choosing this restaurant again anytime soon…

The dairy queen in Burley really went downhill. We ordered small blizzards and it was literally vanilla ice cream and like 2 small pieces of oreo. They used to be so good. Too bad.

If you want a high quality experience at DQ don’t go to this one! We were the ONLY ones in the drive through and it took them 10 minutes to give us our food. As we watched four employees just stand there doing nothing. After we finally got it we found that the cheese curds were overcooked to the point there wasn’t even any cheese in them.

We went in and they did remake them but in the end they were slow, lazy, and not good at the job they get paid to do.

This Dairy Queen used to be a nice place to eat. However, the QUALITY has gone down so far, I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
I wanted a cookie dough blizzard with caramel on top, but they wouldn’t do it. I was told they could only mix it in but couldn’t put anything on top. Lame!
Anyway, three blizzards were ordered and after about 15 minutes, our order number was called. The blizzards were NOT turned upside down like the advertisement describes. The blizzards were obtained so melted that I don’t think anything would remain in the cup if it was attempted to flip them upside down.
$20 for three melted blizzards. Does that sound appetizing? I don’t think so! Plus the prices are jacked up pretty high for subpar quality.

Go somewhere else to get better fast food and let this Dairy Queen become obsolete.

The drive through is as slow as molasses, customers in front of us requesting replacements. That should have been the sign to run, not walk away!

I’m not typically impressed with this locations customer service, but tonight was one to remember. I visited the drive thru around 10:20pm. The lady taking my order was very patient and friendly. When I arrived to the window to pay she was asking about my day, collected payment and we continued the conversation. I was surprised at the level of customer service I received tonight. Because of her, I will return. Thank you for your kindness (I am sad I didn’t get your name).

I’m not happy writing this review but the reality is I’m sitting in the store now with young kids being obnoxious and unprofessional. Literally telling people they “don’t care” about products and yelling about personal stuff back and forth. My wife was craving DQ, hoping the food is better than the employees complaining that they’re making our food.

I think it’s an honorable mention that the owner has been made aware that I’m not in this boat alone. So many of the reviews are stating exactly what I stated. They’ve got a copy and paste response “I’m sorry for your experience and we hope you’ll give us another chance.” Well… the only reason I would is if my wife wants DQ. The business is operating very poorly and I hope it gets turned around for the benefit of its many unhappy customers. After receiving my food, I’m even more disappointed than I was when in the store. Extremely sad.

Service seriously sucks here, I’d rather go to Rupert or Twin Falls. It takes 10 minutes to even get someone to acknowledge you…another 10 to 15 minutes just to get ice cream, while a bunch of kids are talking crap to each other and the manager is in on it laughing. Nope done here!
