We don’t currently live in Texas so was going off reviews to find a good Mexican restaurant. This was close to our hotel and had great comments so we came in for dinner on a Friday night. Best decision we made! The staff, ALL of them, were very friendly and prompt with the service. The food came out fast and it was so good! The serving size is enough for 2 meals. The ambiance of the restaurant was Spanish themed and we LOVED the crosses on the wall!! Location is off the interstate and there’s plenty of parking. I highly recommend!

It’s a nice place with friendly folks but that’s the only good thing here, my wife ordered the green and I ordered the mole enchiladas, when she started to eat them she stated as to how salty they were, when I tried mine same damn thing, salty as hell, we both have high blood pressure and this is unacceptable, we waited more than 15 minutes before our server came out from the back so we could return the food but my wife got tired of waiting and we got up, paid our bill and left, I’ll check this place on my list of places to never go again!

I’ve been dining here for over 20 years and it has never been a disappointment. The food choices are great and the portions are perfect. Prices here are way better than larger chains. I highly recommend you try it, you won’t be let down. The staff is super friendly and very quick with bringing everything to you. I’ll always continue to dine here no matter what!

I’ve been coming here since it opened years ago. Rene and the entire staff are like family to me now. Food, service and price are all great. This is a locally-owned business – the owner runs the register, seats guests, or whatever else is needed. Love this place. They’ll know me by my recommendation, which isn’t among the choices in the review – Pechuga a la Parrilla! And charro beans! My wife and son love the mole too!

I tried this places years ago before writing reviews. I remembered it being good, but I didn’t remember it was 5 stars good! My aunt and I walked in with a multiple people ahead of us, so I was concerned the wait might be long. The interior of the restaurant is much larger than it appears on the outside. They have multiple seating options. The bar area with actual bar top seating, tables and chairs, plus booth options. The main dining area, also with table and chairs, plus booth options. There is also a patio area with tables and chairs. We were taken to a booth, by choice, tucked away in the corner of the restaurant. It was perfect for reduced noise level and being able to talk. We were quickly greeted by Beatriz and she took our drink order. Beatriz was warm and friendly with a big welcoming smile. We ordered two margaritas, a small queso, and studied the menu while we ate some chips and salsa. This chips are a little thick for my liking, but that was good in the sense that I didn’t eat too many before the meal. They only serve red salsa. Another good thing because I could eat my weight in the creamy green salsa that many Mexican restaurants serve in the area.
I ordered the combo plate with one Taco al Carbon, one chicken flauta, and one chalupa with ground beef. My aunt ordered the Tacos al Carbon with Diablo shrimp. Both entrees came with rice and beans. We sipped on our tasty margaritas while waiting for our meal to arrive. Our dinner arrived within a good amount of time, but also not too quickly. I could tell it was freshly prepared. The portions are quite large. Everything was hot and tasty. I didn’t realize the flauta came with red sauce on top. I didn’t have my glasses on when ordering, so I missed the fine print. At first sight, I was concerned I may not like it, but it was delicious! The best flauta I’ve ever had! The plate came with sour cream, so the red sauced drizzled over the flauta then dipped in the sour cream was wonderful. The Taco al Carbon meat was tender and flavorful. The chalupa was on a plate by itself dressed with lettuce, cheese, and diced tomato’s. It was huge and very good! My aunt liked her meal as well. We were both stuffed and very pleased. Our tab, for 4 margaritas, a small queso, and 2 meals (with leftovers), was $81.00 before tip. I thought was pretty reasonable. Beatriz is a great waitress. Ask for her!
The restaurant was clean with good energy. We were able to see some of the Astros game while dining (we won 8-4 against the Red Sox! Go Astros!) .
I would highly recommend this place. I can see myself going again to try out the bar area and watch my Astros.
I do have to mention one small issue. The parking area. It’s a very busy area, especially with the new pool hall, Woody’s Hideaway, that just opened 3 days ago. Most of the parking has signs reading 1 Hour Only from AM hours (I think it was 9 AM) til 7:00 PM. We arrived at 5:55 PM. We knew we would be in the restaurant longer than an hour, but decided to take a chance. It’s not monitored, as far as I can tell, but I am a rule follower by nature. We could see the vehicle from our table in the restaurant, so that helped. I figured we could run out to move the vehicle if needed. There are multiple businesses sharing the parking lot, including an extremely busy gas station that pulls in feeder road customers. The gas station is also accessible from the parking lot we were in, so the entrances and exists make it very congested. We circled about 4 times before finding a spot. To be fair, it was a Friday night at 5:55 PM. Just heads up on the situation.

The enchiladas trio was amazing, one beef, one chicken and one cheese and refried beans and Mexican rice. I’m usually just a beef enchilada lover but La Fiesta has converted me….all the types of enchiladas on this plate were the best i’ve ever had anywhere. The beef fajitas lunch plate was very tasty, the fajitas had tons of flavor, some of it was a little chewy. The fajitas came with grilled onions and bell peppers and another plate with guacamole and barracho beans, the beans and guacamole were stellar, and rice and a little shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes, a little pico de gallo would be nice too. The flour tortillas were pretty good. Great friendly service and great food….we’ll be back for more of these goodies. The complimentary chips and hot sauce was very good, I loved the spicyness of the salsa, it was too hot for wifey.

Everything was fantastic. Fajitas were perfect and I like a place that includes cheese and sour cream by default for fixings

Went there for a graduation celebration with the family. Had a little of everything.
Food was a 4.5
Service was 5 so I round up to a 5 star.
My food was great but my sister had the shrimp and said it wasn’t that good ( but seafood is not in the name so wouldn’t have expected it to be)
We had a large group and everyone slowly trickled in but they seated before the whole group got there. The server would check on us each time someone joined us and kept or chips and salsa full. Salsa was mild very small amount of heat I would have enjoyed something hotter. But I did finish my meal and had a lot to take home. I want to leave room for dessert.
