Of late, the Cajun tater tots need some attention. our last three orders, there is no salt and it’s basically just heat. They don’t taste good anymore, they are just hot. Not sure if you lost a prep cook, or the recipe for the spice blend changed, but I don’t think we’ll be ordering for a while. Aside from that, the food has been consistently good.
Edit: We ordered a side of regular tots also. No salt and undercooked. Thank the future for air fryer to crisp up.
Edit2: You guys gave us extra extra Caesar dressing. My wife was very excited as she loves your Caesar dressing. Thank you!
Edit – “When I saw the parking lot packed, and full of cars, I turned around ….”
I was on my own for dinner and decided to stop in to a new place. The hostess was friendly and the bartender was polite. I ended up sending my overcooked burger back to receive a new one that was just the same. The beef was bland, dry, rubbery, and hard to chew. At least the cook is consistent. – I am concerned the Fresh Ground Beef made inhouse is a sham. Both burgers I received were highly condensed patties that seemed to be compacted by a weight while cooking. I would have liked to see more than one slice of bacon on a $17 burger with adequate veggies.
The bartender was very polite and my burger was remade ASAP. In the end I was not charged for the food. I left a $5.00 tip and almost took it back when I was leaving. After numerous apologies and excuses I had to say “It’s best if I leave now. No amount of discussion is going to change the quality of the food here”.
A great atmosphere and good service doesn’t make up for poor food quality. I went hungry for the rest of the night because my plans with friends didn’t included eating a meal.
It was the night of the college football national championships and we were the only ones watching the game and maybe 1/6th of the place occupied. This is a sports bar the night of one of the biggest sporting events. Empty.
They had one server for the entire restaurant so nearly impossible to get an order in and empty tables were loaded with dirty plates and cups.
The topper, they charge $4 for soda water simply from the spray gun in the bar. Never in my life have I been charged for the soda water from the gun.
It is very unfortunate because it has great potential and I live only a few blocks from there. However I am reminded yet again that the food, service, and prices are absurd. Really hope someone revamps it when they go under because seeing how empty it was on a night that should be one of the busiest, it’s just a matter of time. Hopefully.
The 1 negative drawback, and it’s a big 1 for me, Is how dirty the place is. There is dust and food on the window sills, Dirty floors, and even the glass display case in the entryway is covered with dirty fingerprints. That makes me wonder just how clean the kitchen really is.
