I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Piporro Taqueria Jalisco, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a local restaurant. This place is a true gem in the community—authentic, generous, and clearly run with pride and passion.
Right from the start, I was impressed by the attention to detail. The meal came with two incredible salsas: a vibrant green salsa and a bold, flavorful red salsa. Both tasted unbelievably fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly homemade. The added lime on the side was the perfect finishing touch to brighten the flavors and elevate the whole experience.
But the highlight of my order was the baked potato—and it was absolutely perfect. Loaded with melted cheese, smooth cream, and delicious bacon bits, every bite was rich, warm, and deeply satisfying. The portion was generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were on point from start to finish. This is the kind of food you can tell is made with care and real love for cooking.
Piporro Taqueria Jalisco offers everything I appreciate in a true mom-and-pop restaurant: outstanding flavor, excellent portions, quality ingredients, and genuine heart behind every dish. It’s rare today to find a place that feels this authentic and welcoming, but this restaurant delivers all of that and more.
I’m extremely grateful for the meal and will definitely be returning. If you’re looking for delicious, real, homemade-style Mexican food, Piporro Taqueria Jalisco is absolutely worth it.

I went around 11:30 & I got the combo #3. The waitress was very nice and the food was delicious. I ended up paying $13 with taxes which nowadays I feel was a good price for all that food.

This place came highly recommended by several people. We enjoyed the steaming taco plate a lot, & the regular tacos. However, be aware they charge for everything: refills, extra cheese, adding something to a dish. The reason we won’t be coming back is the server continuously kept taking our food, as we were still eating it. It was a really weird experience when they asked as we got a to-go box for 1 order, “did you not like the food?” Then came & cleared another order from our table.

I recently tried their ratones with trompo meat and they were really good, I didn’t like the bistek meat they serve, but the trompo was good and the raton (cream cheese filled jalapeño wrapped in bacon) was amazing.
The bistec tacos aren’t really good, there is something about the meat I don’t like.
The baked potato with meat is very creamy, but I feel like it’s lacking something the flavor was very plain.
The frijoles charros are very tasty i did enjoy the flavor of them.

Prices were ok. The amount of meat they add is great and has flavor but overall the tacos and campechanas were really greasy to the point where we couldn’t finish. Beans are really good though.

Came in here with a friend and got the fajitas tacos . They were delicious . What made them really good were the tortillias de maiz. They were fresh and delicious. The fijorles a la charro were delicious as well. Service was friendly and great.

Changing my review. Walked in talked to the waitress. I know she doesn’t speak English but I usually get my wife on the phone to order. But she was totally ignoring me . She went to get drinks for others. She then walked back to the counter and walked away to take another order. She went to the drive up window. A man came from the back and also gave me the ghost treatment. I walked out. We really liked the food. You’d have thought I was wearing an ICE uniform

Oh em gee! The TACOS from this place are DELICIOUS and the RED SAUCE is so GOOD! You can always tell if the tacos from somewhere are gonna be good by the flavor of their starter beans, these were excellent! Highly recommend, if you haven’t come by, YOU NEED TO!!!! ⬇️

Very hospitable people, but not very good food. Beef was rubbery. Tortillas were chewy. Kind of unacceptable. No one else was eating there, maybe that was the issue.
