10/10 highly recommend Meximodo for incredible Mexican food, but also the venue is the perfect spot to host an event or for a romantic date night. Ambiance and decor is great, and customer service is impeccable. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the hostess Ellen was friendly and greeted us and our incredible server Joel made sure our meal and experience was to our satisfaction. The meal itself blew us away. I have never had such melt in my mouth hanger steak with such incredible flavor (top recommended dish) cooked to perfection (rare and pink for me). The yuca fries it came with was great (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside), but definitely try the Mexi fries (they are thin, crunchy, seasoned well). The meximodo salad has a great balance of flavors (mango sweetness paired well with the zesty and sweet honey like vinaigrette) and texture (the crunchiness of the tortilla strips and jicama and nopales). The scallop ceviche also has a great balance of sweet and savory and I loved the crunch from the puffed rice, flavors had depth, complexity and was a refreshing appetizer. The Chipotle Baby Back Ribs were fall off the bone tender, moist and juicy inside, sweet and tangy with great smokiness, though the corn succotash was a bit too greasy for my liking. The quesabirria tacos were also great, but some small local taquerias make it better. Overall, Meximodo is a restaurant I will be frequenting, my favorite high end Mexican restaurant in NJ. Shout out to Joel, the manager, for doing such an incredible job hiring such great staff and running the restaurant so well.
Edit: tried the watermelon and tomato salad with shrimp added and the portion was small, less than a few bites and the $6 extra for shrimp, it’s just 6 tiny shrimp, the dish comes together so well and all the flavors balanced so perfectly (chili lime fans will love this). Small in portion but more satisfying than any other salad I’ve had. Better than meximodo salad even.
Editing again as I finally got to dine in. Experience was incredible, highly suggest dining in as it takes the food and experience to a whole new level. You get started with some tortilla chips and pico de gallo and a sauce that was flavorful. The drinks are well mixed and presented beautifully, got the Cantarito and the El Jefe, both delicious drinks. Also tried the Nayarit-Style Red Snapper and it was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully. Great experience.

I would give 1000/10 if i could. It was THAT GOOD! We tried street style corn, chicken enchiladas, chicken tinga tacos, meximodo salad (best salad i have ever had in my life) , lava cake. Everything was 10/10
Also the price range is very good compared to the ambience ,service, food presentation. Every dish was in between $13 – $20

Johan was our server and he was terrific. He had great recommendations and was quick to get our drinks and appetizer. We went there to celebrate my daughter‘s 18th birthday and he and the other staff members came out with such a great celebration when it was time for dessert that it made my daughter extremely happy… The overall atmosphere is so colorful and delightful to spend an evening at… The food was very tasty and the presentation of the watermelon/tomato salad was incredible.

Had an amazing time here the food is amazing. I never had a crab tostada so that’s being my introduction was great. I love the spices and the jalapeño aïoli day. Add it to take it right over the edge. The plantains were sweet as ever just the way I like it not to mention the server in our bartender, made sure that we were taken care of from beginning to end as we sampled patron for consumers that were available to try the ambience is true to Mexican culture you feel like you just stepped in the world of Mexico as soon as you go in there great place.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Meximodo. I went there for dinner on a Friday night. The vibe and atmosphere is fun and beautifully decorated. The service is hospitable and quick. The food was quite good – we got the carne asada and the pollo con molé. Both were very flavorful and seasoned well.
For drinks, I had a mocktail and it was really sweet but still delicious.
Overall, a good restaurant to go for a nice dinner. Definitely make reservations because they get busy on the weekends!

Wonderful and upbeat ambiance,the design is really fun and I liked the seating!
Service is top notch, the staff are super nice and quick.
Food:
– Guacamole – we ordered the pineapple habanero topping,it was very tasty
– The crispy tortillas and the dips were delicious!
– Burger – very tasty but also very heavy(avocado and cheese and bacon), we shared it between 2 people and good decision on that, I wouldn’t have finished it myself
– Yucca fries – crispy on the outside and nice and mushy on the inside.
– Fried tacos- I don’t remember the exact name if the dish but it was really good and surprisingly not greasy!
– Vegetarian tacos with mushrooms – my friend really enjoyed that one (FYI there are plenty vegetarian options on the menu)
For dessert we got the ice cream trio with cookies and other toppings, the uce cream was very good,all the other stuff on it are redundant in my eyes
We washed all down with some delicious Margaritas

The restaurant was very spacious, the decor and ambience were very pretty and upbeat! Our waiter Johan was fantastic! He was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Food came very quickly. We ordered tacos and meximodo bowl with chicken, fresh and flavorful. Price very reasonable. We had matcha latte and honey comb latte, awesome! Overall, we had amazing experience! Free parking is a big perk as well!

One of the most outrageous places I’ve been to! Everything from start to finish was so good! The street corn is a must and is the best thing on their menu! I would come back just for that! Their drinks are some of the best I’ve ever had, get the Jamaica Agua Fresca and thank me later! Our waiter Alejandro was a pleasure, so friendly and attentive! Such a good experience i will absolutely be back!
