You can feel the love, grind and sazon poured into this place as soon as you walk in!

The food is delicious!
I got Cuban, scrambled, meat empanada, guava+cheese pastelito, and a cappuccino to go – all excellent, fresh-made, warm and toasty.

The staff is kind and welcoming with owner and wife working in the front. I miss speaking Spanish and I loved that I could say things with my accent and was understood – even if it was just menu words.

The place is clean and airy – the home-like decor is nostalgic and it all adds to the experience. It’s a place with soul and it’s already building a community with all the returning locals.
I’m happy to have found it, we can’t wait to bring all our friends and family as well.

First time at Old Habana Cafe, and I must say that from the great service to the food, everything was very good and highly recommended. I ordered a colada and a Cuban sandwich, and I loved the flavor and how perfectly toasted it was. I also ordered guava pastries to go, and they were delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this place!

A bit pricey for Cuban croquetas. The Cuban sandwich was dry. Friendly wonderful staff.

I was very excited to have a Cuban restaurant close to home. Was very disappointed overall! Very expensive for the quality of food. And it’s a walk up to the counter and order, and walk back up and get it when it’s ready. Staff was very friendly and nice. I ordered the Cuban Thing sandwich, two ham croquettes, and a colada, as well as a guava and cheese pastry. $27 before tip @ the counter. I watched the young lady make the colada, she made it wrong. I worked a lot of years in Miami and know what a correct colada is. You’re supposed to put the sugar in the cup before you start the espresso and consistently stir it. She just ran the espresso machine and threw a little bit of sugar in at the end. Didn’t even look like a full shot of espresso and it should’ve been two shots. That was $4.70. Ham croquettes had no flavor. Usually they’re $1.25 to $1.50 apiece in West Palm in Miami. They were three dollars apiece here. The sandwich was good size, but I think they ran out of chicken…. Basically what I got was a sandwich of bread full of coleslaw. It said it was supposed to be marinated chicken and two small chicken breast should’ve fit on the sandwich. It looks like the chicken was chopped up and it was chopped so thin it was difficult telling the difference between the coleslaw and the chicken. I wish they just would’ve told me they didn’t have enough chicken and I would’ve switched my order. That was $14 with a side of stale plantain chips. Guava and cheese pastry barely had any filling in it. I would be surprised if there was a tablespoon of guava in there. Couldn’t taste any of the cheese in it. That was three dollars. I could’ve gone to a nice restaurant in downtown Stuart and had a plated service dinner for what I spent here. Will not be returning.

Or first time but not the last.
We love Cuban food and have been all over the state. This is one of the best! El Cubano had such fresh bread and the roast park in it was delicious. The guava and cheese was the best we have ever had and I think it’s because the pastry was incredibly flaky and fresh.
Can’t wait to come back and try the Monday specials!!!
