The service was amazing. The food was not bad that atmosphere dark music was nice.
New Year’s Eve we ate at this restaurant. The pork belly tacos were amazing and the cauliflower fried with the dipping sauce was very delicious. They also have burritos quesadillas and tacos that were also very good. The bar is amazing. They have so many drinks that you can pick from. I decided to get the plank of tequila. They have different varieties that you can choose from my consisted of Don Julio, who is absolutely amazing. I would definitely go back..

I stayed 3 nights at Foxwoods. I decided to go for dinner at scorpion bar, this was my second time eating there. I know the food and drinks were not too bad. Everything was going well, until that busboy came spraying around me like that’s spray is invisible. So rude and unprofessional. It was 3hrs before closing time. He couldn’t wait for me to finish, for him to clean the bar. He should get removed before he spray someone’s food. And he might not be lucky next time. Someone will put him in his place. I was there to have a good time, I was not gonna let the devil ruin my day. I mentioned it to the waitress, she was very understanding and polite. She mentioned it to the manager. The waitress came back stated that the manager giving me a discount for my nachos. I told the waitress it was not about getting a discount nor getting a free dish. It was being professional in that restaurant. The restaurant supposed to be a top restaurant. I guess the manager didn’t talk to him because he came around me cleaning left and right but this time with his towel smh. He pick the right time, it was my last night and I was not going to let him ruin it. I ignored him continue to eat my food. The waitress asked me if I wanted to get a different plate of nachos. I told her no because I was being cautious, the busboy was the one who brought the nachos to me the first time. Anyway keep it up busboy you will meet your match. As for the manager thank you for your understanding however, he came back cleaning around me like it supposed to means something. Like I say it wasn’t last night I was there to have a good time not to let the devil win.

The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. $17 for a margarita and I don’t believe there was any tequila in it. For that price want to taste it. I guess there is a positive to our waitress never showing up to ask if we needed another drink.

My husband and I came here for lunch during our trip to Foxwoods for our honeymoon. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The server was rude and in attentive – our drinks were never full and she did not check in during our meal. I ordered us chips & salsa – the salsa was bland as bland can be. Not worth the $$$. I had tacos and my husband had a salad. When I ordered the tacos, I explained that I do not eat cheese and wanted to confirm there was no cheese on the tacos. She confirmed and proceeded to ask me if I was okay with spice – I said yes. The menu had the shrimp tacos listed as having a Habanero salsa on then – okay, spicy, but not ghost pepper level. I felt comfortable with that. When she brought the meal over, I took 1 bite and immediately regretted it. It was so spicy, I could not even handle it. I was coughing and of course, I had no beverage so I was eating ice cubes to give my mouth some relief. My husband offered to eat my tacos and I would eat his salad, as he has a great tollerance for spice than me. He also took 1 bite and started choking with no beverage. She finally refilled our beverages, but did not ask how things were. I did not eat any of my tacos and when I tried my husbands salad, it was awful – soggy, unflavorful, and not fresh. When she came over to give us the check, she noticed that I had not eaten and asked if I did not like the meal. We explained that it was VERY spicy and almost inedible. She apologized but shrugged us off. When she came back with the bill, she comped the tacos off – this is the only reason I am not giving them a worse review. We later learned, from the table next to us, that the salsa had not just habaneros, but also jalapenos, which is why it was so spicy. Maybe try explaining that, rather than asking “are you okay with spice?” Very disappointing.

Slowest service ever. I watched other tables get their food before me whom arrived after me. If the server communicated that they were behind that would have been nice but I was left confused about where my two tacos were. That’s all I ordered. The server asked if I’d like chips and salsa while I wait, but come on it’s been 40 minutes. How long will the chips and salsa take lol. I ended up just leaving. If you guys are behind communicate that before. Not after when I been waiting and watching everyone else being served

Food and drinks are really good. Nice environment. I will say service was slow and they forgot to give us utensils at first. But it was a super busy Saturday night so will cut them some slack!

Bartender: it was a Tuesday night 1/27/26. We enjoyed dinner as a group at one of the restaurants near by and wanted to close the night out with some drinks during the last night of our conference. Sally (aka. Shaney) greeted us at the bar, she was very dedicated, serious , and expressed her love for the job and positron she held. As we enjoyed the evening as a group, all of our requests and needs were met in a professional, fun and memorable experience. Thank you Sally for making our trip to Foxwoods so amazing! Until our next visit keep smiling and killing it behind the bar !

We stopped into Scorpion Bar right when they opened for the day, and the experience was solid from the start. The service was prompt and attentive, with staff ready to seat and serve without delay — a nice surprise for a casino spot that can get hectic later in the day.

I had the enchiladas with rice and beans, and everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The enchiladas had a nice balance of richness and spice without being too heavy, and the rice and beans were cooked just right — not bland, not overly salty, just solid.

The space itself has that edgy, upscale cantina vibe Scorpion Bar is known for, but going early meant it was quiet and relaxed, which gave us a chance to actually enjoy the atmosphere.

Overall, it was a smooth experience. If you’re at Foxwoods and want something satisfying without the chaos, hitting Scorpion Bar early is the move. I’d definitely go back.

DON’T waste your time, money, or hunger by going! We were the first ones there at opening. (1pm) The decor was ok, televisions to watch football games, but very dark. Pepsi products were the only plus side. The waitress was nice but the food was HORRIBLE!!! Chips & Salsa cost $8! Not free, like usual. Dry, cold, days old, nasty, hard rice. Liquid puree, gravy refried beans, couldn’t even eat them! Burrito was bland, dry, no juice or flavor, couldn’t even eat the other half of it. Fajita tortillas were so small with BURNT mushrooms, not worth $24! Told the waitress we were not impressed and she said the original chef quit and would let the manager know. The manager didn’t even come over to acknowledge the issues or apologize! NEVER GOING AGAIN!!!

I ordered a sangria that needed to remade as everyone agreed the bartender added way to much seltzer. She was also rude, acted anoyed with any request and would actively ignore us when we were the only ines in the bar. We ordered the party platter to share. It was overpriced for what it was. It barely had any meat in anything, and all of the food was very bland. Especially for Mexican. The quesdilla was flat with barely any cheese and nothing else inside it. The tosquitos and nachos were dry and flavorless. Lastly the emnada texture was good, but no flavors whatsoever. Portion was also super small for a party paltter meant to be shared. Will not be returning.
