We experienced dinner under the new owner and chef. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ate was wonderful and executed perfectly. We had the meatball appetizer and scallops. We each had a pasta dish – the wild mushroom dish was incredible. The chef came out to check on our experience which was very lovely. Our only critique would be to improve the atmosphere with different music – it was very heavy in Kenny G type of music which felt dated and stuffy.

First time here celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Very intimate, comfortable environment, only 8-10 tables. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Recommended a great wine to go with our dinner. Food was fantastic. Bring your appetite to tackle the fixed menu options! The prices were very reasonable given the quality experience. Highly recommend for a special night out.

A true fine dining experience. My husband and I both had the fixed menus; mine was seafood and his was meat. The food was delicious. Service is impeccable and Loretta came out and greeted each table. My only criticism is the tight space. We could hear the conversations at the tables around us and I didn’t care to hear people’s political views on my anniversary.

My wife loves your food and the ambience and the other day I brought her and 2 guests. I, however have a few issues.
1. They sat us next to the front and kitchen doors when only 1 or 2 other tables were occupied. Big negative to me.
2. When we ordered drinks, the server said something about there not being enough glasses, a deficiency that I did not need to hear about but was certainly brow raising.
3. I ordered the risotto appetizer for the table and was told there were only 3 servings to the order. I said well, we are four so bring it with 4 (little risotto balls). The server made a bit of a stink about it and when it came out there were only 3 on the plate. About 10 minutes later a second order of 3 came out and they were almost frozen inside. Seems silly to talk about but at the prices charged (how much could 1 little ball cost you, I’m guessing about 10 cents) I would think that she would have brought out 4 the first time and chalked the cost off to what eventually be a $367 bill and a $70 tip for total $437. (ALMOST HALF OF $1,000.00).
4. Several times had a hard time getting the server’s attention because she appeared to be busy trying to close up, fussing with unoccupied tables.
Bottom line is that the items I listed, although easy to correct, were annoying enough to make the experience much less than what I would expect from this restaurant.
Overall I feel less than excited about returning.

Unfortunately this place does not live up to the reviews. At all. I am giving it 3 stars because they are a small business with good service and ambiance, but you can find better food just about anywhere. Italian dishes were average at best. Little to no flavor. Filet entree unfortunately was worst steak and mashed potatoes I’ve had. They also state on the menu that it comes with two types of mushrooms. Neither one of us received any mushrooms at all.

Small intimate setting. Reservations a must. Plan on taking your time. Limited serving staff but very attentive and very good. Food was outstanding. If you are looking for a special place to celebrate a special meal, this should be on your short list.
