I came here with my boyfriend for lunch. It was a great experience, the cashier helped us and got us seated quickly. The food came out in about 5-8 minutes. I got the sandwich and tender combo. 8/10. Personally I prefer my chicken very crispy but it wasnt bad. The strip has buffalo and for being buffalo that was spicy. The strip its self was cooked great but again I didn’t expect buffalo to be that spicy. I got the chicken sandwich with mild sauce. That was amazing, I loved the spice level and I loved the bun. The fries were also amazing. They had a grest crisp and great seasoning. We got their sauce. It was great a little on the sweet side but was good. Overall this was a great experience

Came in for a Saturday night dinner in a group of 8. It was little tricky to move some tables to fit our group size. However, it was worth it because the food was awesome! Each person in the group ordered something different and at the end of the night we all agreed it was delicious and would absolutely return. The liege waffle was so yummy with the honey butter chicken, my mild original sandwich was so so good! We all loved that we could adjust the spice level to our liking. The fries were absolutely amazing- especially when dipped in the ranch or house sauce. Another unexpected favorite was the fusion fries. The combo of flavors was awesome! If you’ve been eyeing this place, go! The manager came out and chatted with us at the end of the meal- very kind! He invited us to leave a review- so here you go! Can’t wait to go back next time I visit the Meridian area.

Waited 20 minutes for chicken nuggets sitting at a sticky table. Young dude at food service was eating food from co-workers plate at the bar, licking his fingers, wiping his nose, no gloves and then handling people’s orders. Yummy. Food was ok. Won’t be back. Bunch of teen employees standing around not busy in a dirty restaurant.

This was our first time going to Houston Hot Chicken, after many many different options throughout Meridian and the valley. HHC has got it right. From the warm welcome we received when we walked in, to the craveable flavors jumping into every bite we will be back. Alex the GM was so incredibly helpful. Since my wife and I had never been in before Alex jumped right in to guild us through the menu. She recommended sauce combos and her most favorite sides. The Mac and cheese is perfect as well as the slaw! If you want fried chicken and you want it made right by people who care, stop by HHC for your next spicy kick. Lemon pepper also crushes!

First off, the chicken sandwiches and nuggets were quite tasty. We went for the 1st time and ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with tenders. Got back to our Airbnb, then come to find out , our order wasn’t complete. The tenders were missing. I’m assuming the cashier just entered wrong. I should’ve taken the receipt after I paid so could check but I didn’t.

I am not much of a “review” gal but this struck it!! I am visiting from Texas and I decided to give this place a shot and it was OUTSTANDING! Service was amazing, the girl at the register was so helpful and bubbly, I was running short with change and couldn’t pay the full amount so she helped pay the rest, and the tender were fresh and crispy and the fries are the best! Shout out to the cooks, you guys are amazing!! Definitely coming back.

I loved the food and the people. Dezi was warm and welcoming for a first timer. She was a sweet heart. Other people were also so inviting.
After a disappointing opening of Raisin Canes and downslide of Dave’s Hot Chicken (too much grease and lost flavor nowadays), I went to try this place when an acquaintance recommended. Food was not at all greasy and was absolutely great (juicy chicken with crunchy outside). May be a small improvement to make it perfect was to serve the fries hot (temperature). But overall food and people experience was awesome. Certainly the best in the valley.
The only negative I would say is the ambience. The place has trapped oil smoke. I can feel oil smudge slowly accumulating on the top levels of the walls. Gives that old oil smelly vibe. After I left the place, I smelt oil all over me. This is something the upper management needs to work on.

Alexandra was absolutely bubbly, welcoming, and full of great energy from the moment I walked in. She made the whole experience feel friendly and personal, like you’re being taken care of by someone who genuinely enjoys what they do.

Love that chicken from Houston’s. Staff is always super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Food is always freshly and accurately prepared. I like it hot, and no kidding , the waiver-required “Houston, We Have a Problem” level hot is volcanic!
I normally do the sandwich/tender combo in Spicy and Lift-off, the latter of which will leave a path of scorched earth in its path.
Highly recommend over Dave’s Hot chicken because of the quality of food, better service, and better value for the $.
