The Baldwin Bar is our flagship bar located on the first floor of the Baldwin Mansion. It consists of 12 bar seats and 3 tables. The cocktail menu is designed to be more approachable and the atmosphere is lively and casual. We can accommodate up to 24 guests, great for a small group, up to 12 guests. The Baldwin and Sons Trading Co. is open Thursday thru Sunday. It’s located on the 2nd floor of the Baldwin Mansion. The atmosphere is refined and elegant with a library theme. The cocktails are approached using only the finest ingredients and presentation. We can accommodate up to 45 guests. Perfect for a private event space and large groups.

Finally made it here by recommendation from our friends! What a great place!! Make a reservation to get sat upstairs. Very cool decor! Was not expecting that when the outside just looks like someone’s house.
At the top of the stairs, we were greeted by our server, Larry. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Cocktail and mocktail recommendations were enjoyed by us! We were not sure what to order aside from we didn’t want anything that we could get on a typical Chinese-American menu. The two apps and the four entrees were perfect!! (See photos for names)
Sichuan food is spicy, but like in a good, mineralic, coppery taste on your tongue way. You can’t stop eating it! ♀️ Took me back to the dish I ordered at the food court in the Venetian in Macau! It was delicious!!
We split the leftovers. I took the Fei Teng fish and the beef home. The next night added a filet of cod and broccoli and was very happy with the results!
Will be back for sure! This time bringing the family!! Thank you!!

Bar mixes fantastic whiskey cocktails. Get you some Szechuan food! Fantastic. The cumin fish special is outstanding. Savory not spicy. Atmosphere is old school Chinatown vibe…. a little dark and intimate.

I chose Baldwin Bar to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.
We were there for two hours and only received one round of cocktails — despite ordering additional drinks that never arrived. For a place known for its bar program, this was especially disappointing.
The cleanliness was also unacceptable. Our table was sticky and dirty when we sat down, and several plates had rice stuck to them, which made us question the overall hygiene standards.
Service was practically nonexistent. Our server rarely came by to check on us, and when we tried to flag down other staff members for help, we were ignored or brushed off. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests celebrating a special occasion.
To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill — which felt incredibly inappropriate given the level of service we received.
I was really looking forward to celebrating here, but this experience completely missed the mark. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously because no one should spend their birthday feeling overlooked and frustrated.

Very deceiving from the exterior…you might say what is this place?… but upon waking in it’s a very cool historic building, dim lighting, pretty wallpapers and very cozy. We sat at a table at the downstairs bar. The drink menu was amazing. So many creative options! You’ll have to Google the ingredients to figure out what to order. The presentation of the cocktails was top notch. Beautiful and delicious concoctions. The Chinese food (Sichuan Garden – same building and part of the bar) was also very good. Recommend the pan fried dumplings and Prosperity Noodles with beef. Can’t wait to come back and visit the upstairs bar when open. PS – put server Mike was awesome

Loved the decor. Reminded me of old English pubs. The staff is great. Food was quite average. Love their chilly peppers. Good part is for main course they can substitute meat with any veggies/tofu. I always have hard time to find good vegetarian food options but they did a pretty decent job. This place is well known for cocktails and my husband loved everything he tried.

We only stopped for cocktails, but this is an experience worth making the time for. The bartender was super knowledgeable, had amazing suggestions, and took the time to really explain and explore a number of cocktails, and what ended up hitting the table was exquisite. I will absolutely be coming back here.

Located at Woburn, a Chinese Sichuan Garden II joint with craft-cocktail which is just a simple building on the outside with an amazing interior. Loved the mocktails and cocktails served from the bar, real good mix. The foods are amazing, some on a more spicier side to our spice level but the serving size, taste and presentation are awesome. Loved the staff that accommodated us, they are so nice and friendly. Would love to come back and bring some friends with us the next time.

Had wanted to come pre-pandemic so after 15 months of anticipation I built up some pretty high expectations and they were all easily exceeded. This place is awesome and I am so glad they’re a 5min drive from home. I am still dreaming about the chicken wings but everything was so good, the double cooked bacon and leeks – amazing. And then you get into the cocktails, wow, they know their stuff and you can tell they love it as well which shines through in their food and drinks. Such friendly staff, gave us a tour of the building afterwards because it has so much character. This is my new favorite spot, hands down.

If you are looking for mixed cocktail drinks you are never going to find anywhere else, this is the place to be. Food is super spicy, but I loved the braised beef and napa cabbage so much I had to finish it even though my face was melting off. If you want a memorable experience you aren’t going to forget instead of another boring night out I suggest you try this place. The “Two Roads Diverged” for two is excellent and a fun table piece. They also do drinks to go in fun tubes. Love this place and will stop by anytime I’m in the area.
