Pizza was average. Can’t say it was delicious nor can I say it was bad. What bothered me was that my cold hoagie was served in a sealed plastic container with hot French fries. I’ve never seen this done before anywhere. I mean who wants a cold sandwich that has been suffocated by steaming hot fries. On top of that, all I wanted was the hoagie but you have to pay for the fries because unfortunately you can’t just get the sandwich without the fries. You should be able to buy the fries separate if you want to or have them omitted and not pay for them. They would not allow that.
Also, I ordered an American hoagie and was asked what kind of cheese I wanted. Well the last I checked an American hoagie always came with American cheese. Either way once I got back and sat down to eat there wasn’t any meat at all in the sandwich. Just cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions.SMH.
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME HERE AND I WOULD PROBABLY SAY THE LAST. I’LL JUST STICK WITH THE PLACE THAT I HAVE BEEN GOING TO FIVE MORE MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD!

My husband and I tried this for the first time, WOW! The food slapped, everything was perfectly cooked and restaurant was so clean and aesthetically pleasing. The Halloween decor was so cute and gave great spooky vibes! So great to have found a hidden gem in an area that lacks good food choices!

Burgers were absolutely SLAMMING GOOD.

The staff are genuine sweethearts and so understanding and sweet! Overall an AMAZING experience, will definitely order again soon!

I’ve been to Avonnas a handful of times and each time the food is good. Cheesesteaks are loaded with meat and generously sized. Only downside is they do not offer The Wiz as a cheese option. The variety of fries is cool, a fry cut for everyone. Tonight, I took a chance and ordered wings. I’ve been searching for decent wings since I moved back here from Atlanta. These wings were A+. Crisp, well sauced and not overly so, and good sized. The blue cheese was a bit too chunky for my liking but had a good flavor. My only complaint about the wings is no Lemon Pepper flavor! I’ve yet to try the pizza, as I’ve been a loyal Pete & John’s pizza eater since childhood but lately they have been very inconsistent. Looking forward to trying Avonnas pizza next!

Wanted to give this place a 100% honest review. So ordered here 2 times each different week.
(1st week pizza and wings), the pizza was very good! The sauce isnt overpowering the cheese and even as leftovers still had a strong flavor after being reheated, oh though the wings, small, VERY expensive, not worth it.
(2nd week chicken wrap and classic hamburger) The wrap was actually nice, not too much sauce, right amount of chicken in a wrap [some places skimp on the chicken, not here!] And the burger, very juicy and fries was good as well.
Honestly go here for burgers and pizza, skip that burger king across the street. Only gripes I have is 1 exit, (its a 1way entrence), “sauced” wings could be a bit cheaper, and some music to bring in the atmosphere.

Honestly needed a place like this in my life . For years my family and I were trying to find a good pizza / cheese steak place . The food is amazing , the customer service is amazing as well and delivery is always on a good time basis .. unless busy which is understandable . Keep it up . Also LOVE that fries are included!

Have been wanting to try Avonna’s since they opened. Finally got the chance this Monday as they were the only place open after the snow storm. Called my order in over the phone was told 30 minutes, went there to pick up waited another 30 minutes. Trust me not complaining it was well worth the wait. Like I said they were the only place open after a major snow storm. The staff was very busy but also apologetic about the wait. Once my order was finally ready and I got home and ate it was absolutely delicious and right on point. Will definitely go back again

I was upset when the place right next to this closed (Tony’s pizza) they were there for years and amazing But when I seen this place (Avonna’s) opened it did not disappoint! Only tried a plain cheese pie so far but it was a great pizza..crust was perfection the right amount of cheese and sauce! Im pretty sure its Italian family owned and cooking in the kitchen (not 100% sure) which is hard to find anymore but either way its was great pizza and friendly staff. I definitely look forward to trying other things! oh and bonus if you’re friendly there’s a cool little shop to the left to check out, perfect to complete some good munchy food
