First time trying this place for a quick lunch. Food was good value and quality for the price. I was expecting the burger to be bigger (it says 1/2 lb). The brisket was a bit chewy. Fries were excellent and crispy, but pass on the slaw. Would like to go back and try other meat products!

Went to try this place, immediately when we enter there is no host / hostess. We weren’t greeted just starred at by the staff, until we asked if we seat ourselves. We sat and were greeted by a waitress who never said her name. When we ordered the meal I requested was missing the tator tots for the burnt ends jar. She said I could still have it but I’d have to sub it. Assuming mine would come like my husbands jar full of mac n cheese they bring me out mine with a half jar of burnt ends and a tiny little soufle cup of mac n cheese. Needless to say the presentation was less than satisfactory as I had instructed it to be in the jar when ordered. The waitress put it in front of me saying there was some confusion, I fail to understand currently what that was as I was charged full price for the meal anyways. Nominally this will not be on my list or revisits. I’m not an influencer but on social media I am pretty active with my food sharing and the only thing I can say I really like about this place that saved them for me is that they support and have Say Delicious cookies available. They do come warmed so I assume they receive them weekly and possibly refrigerate them as mine was a little cold in the middle still upon receiving but still love that business and will always support Aberdeens best baker!

Not impressed at all! My food was most definitely overcooked and DRY! Brisket was DRY and well done. Burnt ends lacked flavor and were overcooked. Highly disappointed!

Like BBQ, smoked meats, a bar atmosphere and a really good waitress? Then Jd’s is your kind of place. Both my smoked brisket and T’s pulled pork were outstanding. Melt in your mouth kind is goodness is what I’d call it. The sides were good. The beer selection was hugh. They were displayed on a mega screen TV above the bar. Why 4 star instead of 5? The hand cut fries were barely warm. Will be back. If the the fries are hot, then Jd’s will get a well deserved 5 star.

First time visitor this evening. Place was packed. Food was delicious and impossible to leave hungry with portions as they are. Our table ordered chicken salad sandwich, burger, brisket and sausage. All were great! Would definitely eat there again! Going to return and try more items from the menu soon.

Normally our favorite wing place, but tonight they were burnt. The fries tasted old and service was lacking. The kids grilled cheese was the best dish at our table. Hopefully it was just an off night.

My new favorite BBQ place to eat! Their wings, to me, are the best! Moist as if air fried, though I don’t know exactly how prepared. They have several sauces ranging from Sweet BBQ, Smoked BBQ, Honey Mustards to Cannonball (Hot)! Their brisket and St. Louis style ribs are heaven and served with “tater tots” and BBQ beans. The atmosphere is a “sports bar” setting with a cozy bar, high tables, and standard square tables. They offer a wide variety of beers including some micro-brews. I wish I lived closer to this place, but it’s still worth the 45 minute ride, when I get a hankering for ribs!

Updated 10/3/2020: Our waitress Tish was awesome! We were on the fence so she suggested menu offerings for us – the brisket, egg & cheese sandwich and the burnt end quesadillas. They were the best and also the hand cut fries and mac & cheese were fantastic. They have the most excellent Bloody Mary & Cherry Crush’s!

Mom & I enjoyed the half price tacos. Onion rings were great! My daughter’s fried chicken looked OK, maybe dry. Many choices of sauces. Waitress was attentive and food was prompt. Nice presentation, too.
