When you see a pulled rib sandwhich, you have to try it. Great flavor. Also recommend the baked beans. Cool atmosphere with a bar area too. Looks like they have a patio area too for nice days.

A Star Wars themed BBQ restaurant? Yes! I was just passing through looking for a place to grab some some lunch. I was between Obi’s and another restaurant. I saw the stormtrooper in the window and my decision was made. I ordered a half order of nachos and a sausage. The nachos has a little taste of everything and everything tastes great. The sausage was very moist and flavorful. The half size nachos is still large enough to be shared with a couple of people. The array of BBQ was impressive. I enjoyed all that I tried. I will definitely stop back in when I am in the area.

Traditional smoked meats and sides. I had the brisket sandwich, they had a choice of sliced, shredded, lean or fat. Large serving of meat, with great flavor. Really enjoyed the homemade BBQ sauce. The seasoned waffle fries were amazing! My wife enjoyed the pulled pork Mac and cheese bowl. Prompt and admirable service. Fun atmosphere with the OBI’s theme. We will be back…

Absolutely fantastic experience. For my wife’s post-graduation dinner, we stumbled across this gem. The atmosphere was festive, with love music (Saturday evening). We didn’t know what to expect because we were late making dinner plans, being from out of town. Obi’s did not disappoint. The food tasted amazing and was presented well. The ribs were tender and the pulled chicken, the best I’ve ever had. The greens were amazing, but a little too spicy for me. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Obi, he was very friendly and engaging. Of you’re in the Marion, Indiana area, you won’t be disappointed with Obi’s BBQ.

OBI’s is the best in Marion. We frequently doordash from here and it’s always phenomenal… the raspberry chipotle sauce is some of the best barbecue sauce I’ve ever had, and you cannot go here without having their divine pecan cake. I don’t know how it’s so incredible every time, but it’s probably one of my favorite desserts ever! The barbecue is always so fresh and delicious, with excellent portions. Definitely a must visit in Marion!

Wonderful food! The candy meat was absolutely delicious. Our server Andi is an absolute gem! Made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Answered our questions, went over and beyond. What a delightful person. Will most definitely drive the half hour just to enjoy this establishment and the people again!

The food was delicious. Plenty to choose from on the menu and our server Brooke G. Went over and beyond waiting on our 30 family member gathering on a Thursday night . The staff never looked annoyed and believe me when I say that because we gave them plenty of noise and kids to look VERY annoyed. This was my first time eating there but it won’t be my last.

Great service with a nice clean atmosphere. Sides had a wonderful flavor, but unfortunately the pork belly we ordered was inedible. It was burned to the point of being rock hard. Pork belly traditionally has a crisp, charred outer coating and a tender middle. What i recieved would have been a challenge for my dog to chew. The sides were great, and excellent sauces. Disappointed that I spent over $70 only to recieve something I wasnt able to eat. The service i recieved was courteous and prompt, I will say that. I dont live anywhere close to Marion or I would have taken it back. I drove all the way from Anderson to try this place. Not sure yet whether I’ll give them another shot.

waited almost three days before writing so I could be fair after maybe not the best experience. I genuinely enjoy this place. To be honest, I’ve only eaten there once, but every time I’ve gone in. Usually to pick up Doorders, everyone has been consistently kind, whether they’re busy or not. The customer service has always stood out to me.

I finally decided to try the food myself and ordered the two meat, two sides combo. I got the rib tips, baked beans, and mac & cheese. The rib tips were unfortunately pretty tough, so I didn’t end up eating much of the meat. Those baked beans and mac & cheese though, were fire! Honestly, the best baked beans I’ve ever had. I mean that!

I called to let them know about the rib tips, and they were very apologetic and told me they’d take care of it. When I went back in, the experience felt a little different for whatever reason. I ended up purchasing two more sides and some smoked chicken. In total, I spent about $40 and, in the end, only really ate the baked beans.

I’m not sure if the chicken was just naturally on the tougher side or if it simply wasn’t prepared the way I prefer. I’m used to very moist chicken, so that may just be personal preference so that’s why I went with 3 stars.

Overall, I’d still encourage people to give them a try. The baked beans alone were worth it, seriously.
