Came here for a late lunch and the server and food were all amazing. I ended up ordering the seafood paella which came out really fast and delicious. They were able to accommodate our request for vegetarian/pescatarian options with no issues. We also got two drinks but mine didn’t taste that great is there a quick to recommend a different drink as well. Overall, I would definitely come back for more especially now knowing there’s a hidden speakeasy!

What a fantastic meal! Suspiro brings together Spanish and Peruvian cuisine in the most creative way. We shared a few dishes, starting with the fresh and vibrant ceviche, which was a highlight. The fried calamari was perfectly crispy and flavorful, but the star of the show was definitely the rich and flavorful seafood paella, loaded with succulent mussels and shrimp. We also tried some of their unique tapas which were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The restaurant has a great modern atmosphere and is perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends. Can’t wait to go back

We had an excellent overall experience. The service was fantastic—our server was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The food was delicious. The seafood in the paella was tender and juicy, though I would have preferred it to be cooked a little longer to develop the rice richer flavor. The La Mar cups were a delightful and flavorful cocktail. The sour fish salad was another highlight; while I loved its taste, my friend found it a little too sour for his liking.

Came here on a busy Saturday night with a group of girls and sat in the speakeasy outdoor area. Vibe is nice, very elegant and they had a DJ as well. Food was good but service was a little slow. Had to ask the server to take our drink order, food order and for the check. Other than that it was a nice outing

It was a last minute decision to go here, I’d been let down by some friends to celebrate my birthday and it was just me and 1 friend in the end. Our server made me feel special, wishing me happy birthday, writing out a card, providing a cake! He explained the menu to us, making recommendations and checking in. The food was delicious and came out in good time! My favourite was the steak & mushroom kebabs, so tender. I will definitely return and hope we get the same wonderful server, his name is lucky!

Good: Bloody Mary, tortilla de patatas.

Average: steak and eggs, vegetarian paella. Steak was inconsistently cooked, we asked for medium rare and it arrived mostly medium cooked. As other people mentioned, paella was soggy and there was no crisp. It was more like rice a roni or Uncle Ben’s kind of rice. With a few carrots/broccolini/peas/mushrooms on top.

One thing that could be improved is that they serve food on hot plates. The food arrived on cold plates and it made the food cool down significantly.

Come here for the drink and vibes. Skip paella and steak and eggs, they’re nothing special.

First time coming here. Reserving online is easy. Staff were friendly. Our waiter really took care of us and had good service. Ambiance is really nice. They also have a speakeasy at the back of the restaurant that had nice ambiance, good cocktails/drinks and good music. The food was good and flavorful. Place is good for girls out, family dining, date, or just because. Would go back again.

I found Suspiro from Instagram, there’s a secret bar hiding inside the restaurant(well, I wouldn’t call it speakeasy but it’s unique).
Food is beyond amazing.
Staff is super friendly.
Cocktail is delicious.
There’s nightclub vibe even though it’s just late afternoon.
Compares to SF Peruvian restaurant La Mar, I had to say I love Suspiro even more.
Highly recommend it.

Our server was polite and on point. No issues. The classic white fish ceviche was decent, but the tuna version and the shrimp was not good. Not sour enough and was just kinda plain tasting.

The Paela de Marisco was terrible. While the rice was okay, but the mussel was cold and a few of them was iced cold. It’s like they heat up the rice and then just lay out the mussel on top in the end. It was just a huge turn off. I also kinda worry about food safety as well. Did those mussels needed to be heated up to high enough temp to be eaten? I don’t know..

In any case, I won’t be going back.

We kicked off our meal with the Empanada de Vegetales, which arrived piping hot and was beautifully paired with its thoughtful accompanying sauce. However, the true showstopper was the Patatas Bravas. These weren’t just any potatoes; they were remarkably soft, light, and perfectly crispy all at once. The signature brava sauce was an absolute revelation, elevating the dish to a must-try status. Based on these two dishes alone, Suspiro clearly excels in crafting outstanding starters.
For our main course, the Lomo Saltado con Gnocchi continued the culinary delight. The beef was expertly cooked, and the gnocchi were incredibly tender, practically melting in the mouth. The only slight misstep was the veggie burger. While appreciative of the accommodation for a mushroom allergy, the substituted sweet potato patty didn’t quite meld with the other components of the burger.
Beyond the food, the experience was pleasant. Our cocktail, served in a uniquely designed glass, added a touch of charm. Wait times were reasonable, especially given it was a quieter weekday, and the staff were consistently courteous. We found the overall cost to be quite reasonable for the quality received.
