This is my go-to spot for chicharrones and carnitas. I’m an LA-native and have tried many many places around Los Angeles, but this is still my GEM. I’ve had family visit and always request this particular spot. My mom especially loves the buche. The prepackaged salsas are always a hit — at 5 bucks, you can’t beat it. I’m usually inclined to make my own salsas at home because they taste better… but not here. The habanero salsa is fire, as is the green one. The tortillas are super soft too. The meat is all priced the same at around 10.99 a pound. A STEAL.
