The holiday décor is over-the-top in the best possible way. Hundreds (maybe even thousands!) of Christmas ornaments hang from the ceiling, creating a magical atmosphere. There’s even a miniature amusement park display complete with a moving Ferris wheel. The back of the restaurant feels like stepping into Candyland, with treats hanging everywhere, a fun photo-op area with balloons, a gingerbread house backdrop, and cheerful gingerbread men.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. The food was good as well—I had the BLT with tater tots, which really hit the spot for lunch. They also offer a menu of fun, festive holiday cocktails that sounded amazing (even though we were there midday), and we’d love to come back to try them.
If you’re looking for great Christmas vibes, friendly service, and a fun, festive atmosphere around the holidays, The Black Raspberry is absolutely worth a visit. ✨
Server then came over and before even asking us for drinks or food, “Wanted to make sure we were aware we only had thr table for 90 minutes”. Which just felt very blunt and frankly rude, took our drinks order and then came back maybe 15mins later to take our food order, which is where it then just got even worse. We waited at our table for over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get 2 people’s food, with the server only checking in with us Twice to tell us “she promises our food will be out soon”. At this point its been over an hour and we are ready to leave. Eventually the food comes out, to which we are Greated with barely luke warm mediocre food and the side of fries completely stone cold, well over an hour later than we ordered and the restaurant is closing, so the we only have the table for 90 minutes feels very rude and pointless as we have had to wait so long we have “Overstayed” our 90 minutes anyway, because they can’t get food out in a timely manner and then when It does come it feels as if its sat on the side for half an hour.
Anyway, food and atmosphere were great. Service and meal portions (as you could tell by our leftovers pic) were excellent. Highly recommended
There are a lot of thoughtfully crafted pizzas as well as a build your own option. My favorite pizzas so far have been the fig and pig, the arrabbiata, and the fall harvest. The crust always has that perfectly browned crust in the bottom and the caramelized back. All of them do a great job of combining sweet and salty flavors. I’ve also greatly enjoyed their Caesar and Greek salads. Both offer fresh ingredients and are well dressed. They offer a nice reprieve from the inevitable (and worthwhile) grease brought on from the pizzas.
The interior of the restaurant has the look of the reclaimed industrial factory that you can expect in Cordage Park. The service is always top notch. Every server I’ve had here is attentive, cheerful, and great at making reservations. Without fail, the folks here deliver a great experience every time. This is a hard thing to achieve in any restaurant, which hopefully means that the owners treat the staff well. Overall, this is where you need to go if you’re looking for bar pizza.
