Looking for a cozy Sunday spot? We sat at the bar here recently and had a wonderful, quiet experience. The restaurant was still decked out for the holidays, and the décor was breathtaking; the ceiling was entirely blanketed in gorgeous ornaments, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere. To top off the evening, we ordered a pizza that was fantastic—perfectly crispy with fresh ingredients that hit the spot. It’s the perfect place to unwind, grab a delicious bite, and soak in the festive vibes.

The Black Raspberry in Plymouth came highly recommended by a friend who promised that if we wanted to truly see Christmas decorations, this was the place to go—and they were absolutely right. We are so glad we did!
The holiday décor is over-the-top in the best possible way. Hundreds (maybe even thousands!) of Christmas ornaments hang from the ceiling, creating a magical atmosphere. There’s even a miniature amusement park display complete with a moving Ferris wheel. The back of the restaurant feels like stepping into Candyland, with treats hanging everywhere, a fun photo-op area with balloons, a gingerbread house backdrop, and cheerful gingerbread men.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. The food was good as well—I had the BLT with tater tots, which really hit the spot for lunch. They also offer a menu of fun, festive holiday cocktails that sounded amazing (even though we were there midday), and we’d love to come back to try them.
If you’re looking for great Christmas vibes, friendly service, and a fun, festive atmosphere around the holidays, The Black Raspberry is absolutely worth a visit. ✨

If you haven’t visited Black Raspberry Pub then you’re truly missing out on an amazing experience, especially at Christmas time. The food is excellent, the cocktails are amazing, and the atmosphere is as festive as I’ve ever seen in my life. Definitely 2 thumbs way, way up!

Arrived slightly early for a reservation so had to wait for about 10 minutes which was not a problem. Got seated at our table to be told by the lady seating us “you only have this table for 90mins”.
Server then came over and before even asking us for drinks or food, “Wanted to make sure we were aware we only had thr table for 90 minutes”. Which just felt very blunt and frankly rude, took our drinks order and then came back maybe 15mins later to take our food order, which is where it then just got even worse. We waited at our table for over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get 2 people’s food, with the server only checking in with us Twice to tell us “she promises our food will be out soon”. At this point its been over an hour and we are ready to leave. Eventually the food comes out, to which we are Greated with barely luke warm mediocre food and the side of fries completely stone cold, well over an hour later than we ordered and the restaurant is closing, so the we only have the table for 90 minutes feels very rude and pointless as we have had to wait so long we have “Overstayed” our 90 minutes anyway, because they can’t get food out in a timely manner and then when It does come it feels as if its sat on the side for half an hour.

I would say the food is average but I do like the idea that they really make the place look really great they go the extra mile for the decorations during the holiday season. I did not like the drink at all it was supposed to be a cherry cordial old fashioned and all it was was an overdressed drink tasted really bad. There were four of us that day and really none of us thought our meal was outstanding.

Jenna was absolutely amazing and such a hard worker! We came during the storm while we had no power so blessed to have a warm meal! Jenna was the hostess and went above and beyond to make sure we were sat and then began to help serve us – She was a TEAM player tonight and it showed. A lot of her co workers were overwhelmed and she was right there to help! Black razz was one of the only restaurants available and they all did such an amazing job, food was great, service was amazing and drinks were good!

The name/location feels a little hidden but it’s definitely worth checking out if you find it. The atmosphere and food was great and it has outdoor seating (where we sat) and the setup outside looks more inviting/intimate during the evening but we ate a little after noon on a Sunday and there weren’t many people.

Anyway, food and atmosphere were great. Service and meal portions (as you could tell by our leftovers pic) were excellent. Highly recommended

Pizza making is an art and a labor of love. The folks at Black Raspberry Pub are masters of that craft. They serve New England bar pizza and they are easily my favorite on the south shore. I’ve been here a handful of times and have tried a different pie each time and all of them were absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is off the beaten path in Cordage Park and feels like a hidden gem.

There are a lot of thoughtfully crafted pizzas as well as a build your own option. My favorite pizzas so far have been the fig and pig, the arrabbiata, and the fall harvest. The crust always has that perfectly browned crust in the bottom and the caramelized back. All of them do a great job of combining sweet and salty flavors. I’ve also greatly enjoyed their Caesar and Greek salads. Both offer fresh ingredients and are well dressed. They offer a nice reprieve from the inevitable (and worthwhile) grease brought on from the pizzas.

The interior of the restaurant has the look of the reclaimed industrial factory that you can expect in Cordage Park. The service is always top notch. Every server I’ve had here is attentive, cheerful, and great at making reservations. Without fail, the folks here deliver a great experience every time. This is a hard thing to achieve in any restaurant, which hopefully means that the owners treat the staff well. Overall, this is where you need to go if you’re looking for bar pizza.

By far, the best bar pizza in Plymouth. This time, my pie ended up very crispy and delicious. The undercarriage was thoroughly baked. The sauce was very well balanced and not overly sweet, and the cheese was on point. They definitely improved from the last time I had them.
