It all began with the Snug diner and Embers Restaurant in Portland, setting the stage for Richards’ growth into a network of five company-owned restaurants and one franchise across Northeastern Indiana. Our Bearcreek Country Event Center, commissary, and bakery contribute to our success, ensuring consistent quality through exclusive recipes and premium ingredients. Enjoyable place to grab a bite to eat. Came here with my son, the food isn’t anything fancy and the people consisted primarily of the older crowd, but the atmosphere was great and the service by Cade was exactly how it should’ve been. Will definitely be coming back.

Had Sunday dinner with a party of 12, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server really hustled to not only take care of our table, but a few others as well. The rhubarb pie I had for dessert was great.

It was good. I got The Sampler, which consists of 2 eggs, toast, 2 pieces of bacon, piece of ham, piece of sausage, potatoes and pancakes. My husband and I share pancakes (that is our dessert)

I loved this place. Me and my father were driving to go look at some colleges and want to stop by somewhere for lunch. Saw this place did not look bad and decided to stop by. Boy was it worth it. The food was stupendous and the lady that was serving us was timely and very kind. We ordered the chicken and it was amazing. Crispy outside and very juicy inside. And the prices are great. Highly recommend.

Great food and great service but as for the prices, the Breakfast Special is $11.19. It used to be $6.99 two years ago. I get it, egg prices spiked, but now egg prices have come back down. Since the prices have not come back down with the egg prices, I’ll be steering clear.

Sorry no pics of the delicious meals we had. The place was quite busy and service kept up quite well with the demand. Kudos to all the staff. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice warm meal with great servers.
