Waited 35 minutes in the drive thru tonight. This place has fallen off a cliff in terms of customer service, cleanliness, and food quality over the years. To the point where if you want wendys, it may be quicker, and better tasting to travel 20 minutes to the Geneva location. Even with the 20 minute drive you will still have your food faster than the one in Canandaigua.

Door dash orders are ruining this place. They can’t keep up with drive thru, inside customers and pick up orders/delivery. Same for so many restaurants . Wish corporate would put a cap on orders so the employees can actually serve the customers that are physically there. I haven’t been back in over a year and I’m sure others feel the same based on reviews.

I placed an order through the drive-thru, and when I received my food, it was cold. Before my order was handed over, I observed an employee at the window handling items in the cooler while seemingly confirming my vehicle’s position in line. Regardless of intent, this came across as unprofessional and concerning — especially for a local business that relies on community trust. Additionally, the kitchen area appeared cluttered, with boxes scattered around. This presents a clear safety and fire hazard that should be addressed and properly organized.

Ordered two baconators. Got none. Didn’t order a baked potato. Got one. And what in gods name am I supposed to use these straws for. The chicken sandwich that I didn’t order also but received looked like it was picked off the floor. Like did you even try??????? Said it was doordashs fault. The breakfast was gross. Sausage and eggs were both cold, cheese just slapped on there, cold, English muffins were hard as a rock and cold, though they had obviously been toasted at some point in the past. On top of that they got my order wrong.

I came to Wendy’s to try a couple of the new items on the menu. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough money for it all but I still got the Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich which was so good it has a fried pattie of mozzarella which I think is a great touch. I hope to try the garlic butter fries because they sound amazing. I highly recommend you try they also have the Italian Mozzarella Hamburger and they are both on a Garlic Knot type bun.

I don’t normally share my experience at chain restaurants but I had to share this. Coming off a long few days of my own life I decided to go get myself a small treat! Matthew at the drive through was extremely kind and generous, when I told him I thought I had ordered a large drink he immediately offered to change it to a large for me! He was very kind and even topped off my small frosty to make sure I got the best bang for my buck. His kindness made my night!

This location in canandaigua is disgusting! Dirty rug, Sticky tables, sticky floor, smells, wallpaper is peeling off, crumbs and garbage on the floor! Luckily the employees are friendly and food comes out fairly quick but not all the time. I really don’t go to this location often. But when I do it’s in hopes that it’s clean.
