What a great option for Dim Sum in an unexpected place. Literally the only Dim Sum I’ve had in Madison but I’ve enjoyed the stuff all over the world.
Ha gow was delicious! Perfect gelatinous consistency to the wrapper and great shrimp ball inside.
Char Siu Bao – also really delicious! I liked the fact the top of their version opens a bit during cooking. Pork was perfect.
Scallion pancakes were fine but nothing special.
Try these folks out when you get a chance and you won’t regret it!

Always feels so cold in that building. But the dumpling house is so worth it!! Couple dumplings are my favorite I got the beef last time. OMG glorious I always stop there when ever I am in Madison. No matter what. So good. I love the regular dumplings too. The chive and ? Pancake. So many good things. Gotta try it, you won’t regret it!

Good prices for decent dumplings. I don’t think much is made from scratch. It’s decent for what it is though. Food is nice and warm. Steamed pork buns and BBQ pork were good.

Stopped here on my lunch break and the beef noodle soup was to die for! It was packaged perfectly, with the noodles and bok choy held separately from the broth and meat so they wouldn’t get mushy. Everything was fresh, flavorful and rich, perfect for a winter day. Thanks again!

I love this place. Dumplings are good, noodles are good and the buns are good. Ive only gone a couple of times, and only when I have the money since its a bit pricey, but it if def worth it. It tastes really good and you get a good amount of food.

I’ve been here more than a few times now. Best Dumplings I’ve had. Not only in Madison, I’m talking ever had. I’ve seen them make the Dumplings in house so I know they’re fresh & fresh ingredients. Staff is nice & one person has a language barrier but even then I still get my order right. I normally get #13, Triple delight & #15, Shrimp dumplings both pan fried. Haven’t had a bad meal here yet. This is my go to spot when I come to Global. I don’t know Chinese but I know some Japanese… Arigatou

Soo good! I’ve been here twice and loooove their green scallion pancakes! Crispy and delicious. Soup dumplings are good and the beef noodle soup is quite tasty too. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Amazing. The BBQ pork buns are life changing…these sweet and savory pillows will carry you to new heights of food satiation.
We also had the pork and scallion dumplings. They were also very good!

i don’t normally write negative reviews for places but i dont think this place is worth it. the wait time for food is long (most likely because there are only a few people staffing the restaurant). additionally, i ordered bbq pork buns but they came tough as nails and were incredibly hard to bite into and chew. they were definitely microwaved and came from a frozen package instead of being made fresh and definitely contained some sort of red dye. this place isn’t horrible but also not entirely worth it.

My brother and I visited Madison and stopped at the Global Market and Food hall at 9:30am! Dumpling house was open on time at 11am and I ordered the pork and chives dumplings and pork buns! Fan favorites that can’t go wrong! Unfortunately, the pork and chive dumplings were not flavored or seasoned at all. The pork buns were better. I would not recommend if you want some dimsum here. Just go to a local dimsum place somewhere else.
The older gentleman taking my order was not very kind and seemed annoyed I was asking questions about the menu. Didn’t smile or greet us.
