This used to be our go to BBQ place to go. We live in Cleburne and was able to call ahead and give them our order. Always was ready when we got there picking up at take out windows. Now for last 3 weeks we have tried to call to order. No answer. Rings 3 times goes to voice mail. It isn’t because we are to lazy to walk in. It is because we are older disabled couple. All of times we’ve been to this place. We’ve always had a nice respectful warm greeting. This time was so sad we walked out on our order. I ordered the Texas trash bowl with Fritos BBQ sauce on chips. Young girl says what type of beans? I said regular beans, as she’s putting them on I say oh that’s plenty & her comment was that’s all you get anyway & giggled. So I bite my tongue & not hurt her feelings. As my wife’s waiting on her plate behind me I ask for a little BBQ sauce on top of the meat please. She’s like oh no sir I’ll have to up charge you extra BBQ sauce. I was like what..? Spending that kind of cash for over priced food as it is..! I have never been up charged for extra BBQ sauce anywhere in Texas or any other state. 75 cent. Each little container. So I’ve never seen the 2 there tonight will never go back as long as they are pulling that bs….. Just wow!

Love this place! The BBQ is mouth watering delicious! Not only is Bonham the one who cooks it, he serves it up with a smile. He and Paige are a delightful duo who strive to keep the customers happy and coming back for more. I’m telling you, if you haven’t eaten here, you need to go try it out. You won’t be disappointed!

I just bought a house down the street and we may be biased from eating fast good all weekend,but this was really good BBQ and the sides were excellent as well. We’ll be back several times to make sure we test everything. I haven’t had banana pudding that good since my granny used to make it.

The absolute BEST BBQ EVER!! My Dad said it is the most tender he has EVER had!!! I could only eat less than half of my tator an I am STUFFED!! OMGGG!!! O SOOOO GOOOOOD!!! The Cowboy Beans I added to my tator along with the pulled pork was EXCELLENT! I also got a side of turnip greens (not pictured) and i LOVED them . It’s hard to get greens that don’t have a dirt taste , and these DID NOT !!! I would recommend this place to ANYONE!!!

We were literally passing thru and had been craving bbq since we got back to Texas last week. This was a “look it’s bbq” moment with an immediate pull over so we had no idea, nor expectations. First was the slight smell of mmmm when getting out of the car. Then the whooosh smacked ur face when you opened the door. No mistaking the smell of Texas bbq! We chatted with one of the owners while he made our food. We got a fatty brisket sammie for the hubs (he has dry mouth so needs the fat vs lean meat) and I got the turkey. Both were excellent!! We got the spicy sauce on the side cuz we all know you don’t need sauce with good bbq, but appreciated a tasty dip every couple bites. We were given a sample of the sweet cornbread, which I’m really not a fan of, so I was pleasantly surprised that I loved it! It had the sweet and soft texture, but then tiny diced peppers of some type. ♂️ It’s served cold and it was just yummy. So while my mouth just started watering, I may have to go finish that sammie now… Thanks for the excellent meal (s)!
