My husband and I often come here for their wonderful food. The fish fry particularly the Walleye is out of this world. The steak dinner special on Saturdays ne er disappoints but you’d better get in early before they run out. The bartenders.are friendly and attentive. The cooks woek so hard and always turn out amazing food. We will always come here to this little gem in South Milwaukee. We just love it!

I stopped into this small-town bar not expecting much, but left genuinely impressed. I ordered their Slick Willie Burger with fries and a plate of wings, and both absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, cooked just right, and came with a toasted bun that held up perfectly.
The grilled wings were another highlight..great size with crispy skin. Honestly, I was shocked at how good everything was. It’s the kind of place you stumble upon and end up recommending to everyone.

I love love love the fish, however if it’s a pickup/to-go order you should think about wrapping the cakes/fries/ or whatever the choices are separately from the fish, aluminum strips goes a long way to be the fish from getting soggy with having to sit on top of the sides. Food was fresh but when I got to work the fish was already wet and soggy, still very good, maybe next time I’ll just ask for extra extra crispy and it’ll get me more time. Just a suggestion that’s all otherwise overall great place with me living in south mil and I have never heard of this place and all I did was ask Google maps for the best fish fry near me and thus is what came up so knowing me I wanted to try it. Most definitely going to have again and recommend to everyone who loves fish.

Fish fry was recently reviewed as one of best takeout by On Milwaukee. Their corned beef sandwich is certainly the best I ever had. I can’t believe i haven’t left a review here yet. This place has the best damn patty melt I’ve ever had in my life. Been going here for over 2 years now and I’m never disappointed. This place can definitely get busy so make sure you get here before dinner rush! The staff has always treated me well, the prices can’t be beat, and once more the patty melt makes me feel things I’ve never felt. If you like a low key bar with delicious food and great prices, this is the spot. Also, remember it is cash only! So bring some cash otherwise there is also an ATM in the bar.
