I originally thought this place might be worth 3 stars — maybe just an off day. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized it’s a solid 1-star experience.
The chicken was dry to the point of being leathery. The fettuccine noodles were waterlogged and overcooked, and the only halfway decent part was the sauce — which barethe whole plate together. For a normal-priced entrée at $24, I expected something with quality and effort. Instead, it tasted like cafeteria food dressed up with a fancy menu price.
They also had cheesecake on the menu for $14 a slice, which I didn’t try — because that price alone was enough to pass. Two basic drizzles and nothing special for nearly fifteen bucks? No thanks.
Then came the worst part. After I left an honest review, the owner confronted me and my group directly — said he’d comp the food if I took the review down. I declined, and he continued to press me, badgering me face-to-face until I finally agreed just to end the scene.
So yeah, I definitely *felt* the customer experience — just not in any good way. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

It was the first time my wife and I had ever been there and we went on a snowy January night. The food was incredible. This would be the classic Wisconsin supper club with a wonderful salad bar and friendly wait staff. Don’t skip this place. ✌️❤️

Great place being close to Fort McCoy. Cheeses and the salad bar were awesome. Good selection of local beer. The steak was as good as you could ask for. Definitely will eat there again if I’m ever in the area.

Very good experience overall. The Freshness of the Salad Bar and The Bacon Wrapped Meat loaf were standouts. The Shrimp were overcooked and very salty, Scallops and Frog Legs were good.

This supper club is very underrated. Had the saturday night prime rib, cheese curds, and old fashioned! I’ve been to fancy supper clubs and steakhouses around the US and this is probably one of the best prime rib I ever had! Price was very affordable too! Cheese curds were okay a bit salty but the batter was good I assume it is beer batter. They have a very limited selection for the salad bar but that is fine. The old fashioned is lowkey the best old fashioned I ever had next to Ishnala and it is super affordable 3x less than Ishnala’s old fashioned. Overall it was a great experience I believe this restaurant should get more attention than it is getting now. I will definitely come back to try their ribeye steak next!

Phenomenal experience. I looked this place up because it was close to where I am currently working. Read the reviews and came across one that piqued my interest. A customer gave a 1-star with a picture of his food that looked awesome. My buddy and I decided to still give it a try and were blown away by my experience. I had the steak, mashed potatoes, and salad (salad comes with the meal). Our server was Scotland, she was AWESOME!!! Scotland was very attentive, knowledgeable, and had great charm. Our meals came out fast, fresh, and hot. Also, the meal I had was a good-sized portion. Bill came up to about $50 for a 12-oz steak, mashed potatoes, (salad that comes with it), and a glass of red wine. Once we were leaving, I noticed someone who was greeting everyone as they left. This turned out to be the owner. I don’t know what was wrong with that customer who gave the 1-star, but it’s pretty obvious once you have the food and experience that he and his party are incorrect. I STRONGLY recommend this place if you want good, fast, hot food for a reasonable price and good atmosphere. Will come back before I leave Sparta.

Went for Friday fish. First off the service was fantastic, we ate out onto the deckas was a beautiful evening. The salad bar was excellent with many choices along with chicken soup. My friend had the 3 piece cod bater fried with twice baked potato. He loved it and it looked good. I had the 2 piece broiled with au gratin potatoes. Sorry to say but was disappointed as it was 2 small pieces of fish that should have come out of the oven a bit sooner.
I had a very good old fashioned that used a mix but with 2 cherries. Friend had a very good Ukrainian Mule (formally known as a moscow mule). All in all a very good experience. Also the place was Very busy and seemed to handle the crowd well. They do give a cash discount.

This was just what I was looking for. I needed an affordable steakhouse that could serve a great cocktail. My wife needed seafood and the scallops fit the bill perfectly. We love out of the way gems. The staff was so friendly. I will return every time I’m in the area.
