The young man who took our order, his name started with a D. He was fantastic, he asked if we were ok with all the toppings on a particular sandwich, listing all the ingredients and what kind of bread it came on. He asked if we wanted a combo meal and to upgrade to a specialty side (cheese curds, onion rings, yum!) Food was fresh and hot, they had plenty of sauce choices – the Freddy Fry Jalapeño sauce is $$$$$ so good! My patty melt was amazing, i requested only half the cheese as it just gets to be too heavy with 2 slices of cheese, the onions practically melted in my mouth!Kids got custard- turtle sundae and dirt & worms, they were in heaven. The music was very loud, for most of our meal, not sure if a switched genre turned it down a bit or if someone complained and it got turned down, either it was so loud and then music because a little less poppy and the volume came down some.

Very good steak burger! Much better than the competitor next door! The cashier was friendly and patient. Our food came out quickly and hit the spot! This was my second visit and it did not disappoint either time. Inside was very clean. I will definitely be back. Love the usb ports at every bench too!

Food was pretty good just took a while to get it , girl at register was sweet and good with public interactions the other staff should be taken notes from her and the atmosphere is hit or miss just decide for yourself and how u like your surroundings but all in all not bad my kids and I have enjoyed the visit with them

I had to send my grilled chicken sandwich back because it wasn’t quite cooked thoroughly. The Store Mgr took care of it immediately. The food after that was pretty good. Dessert afterwords was good, too! I had a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Cheese Curds and a Sweet Tea. For dessert i had the Pecan Turtle Dessert as a Concrete in a Large Cup which had Vanilla Concrete Custard Ice cream, Delicious Pecan Pieces and Caramel. Yummy

Just got food about and hour ago and Will not be back. I ordered a meal and two medium dishes, what I got was the poorest excuse for a two scoop dish I e ever gotten from you guys. I also asked for a bag, your ever brilliant employee tried to give me the ice cream in the bag with the hot foods. When I asked for a second bag I got so much attitude you would have thought she had to pay for the bag. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Okay, it has been 10 months since I have been here due to my milkshake not being the best. So, it was a low rating. However, the gentleman who took my order in drive-thru around the 12:15-12:45p.m. mark was exceptionally polite. He made me feel compelled to delete my previous review and give them 5 stars. However, I tried the steak, onions, and mushrooms burger, I don’t know the correct name. The burger was hands down one of the best burgers I have had in months and it may be the garlic taste. He explained to me without me having to continually ask what was on it, he could tell I wasn’t a regular, I’m sure. The friendly drive-thru female at the window mixed with him taking my order on top of a great meal, was the best experience hands down. Everyone knows drive-thru gets the worst of the worst in all aspects, but they did exceptionally well. I can’t leave a pic because I ate it before my review, but it looked just as good as it tasted.

Ordered triple patty melt, gave me a double and got an attitude when I told them. Blonde haired manager just handed my stuff to me and walked away. Terrible service, mediocre food. Won’t be back.
Update: still didn’t make it a triple. Still a double. Wouldn’t surprise me they just went to the back and handed the same burger back to me. Save your time and go else where.

I accidentally ordered my burger as a lettuce wrap and I was so glad that I did! The flavors were so good! BEST burger I have ever had at a fast food restaurant! And I have never had a custard shake before and it was the best shake as well! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Well once again decatur has not let us down. Freddy’s used to be amazing and we loved it. As expected, quality has gone down. Custards are still yummy but the sandwiches are on par with the steak and shake across the street. Toppings are non existent and sometimes just not even there. This is my sandwich. Supposed to have bacon on it but the one strip they tore up is all I got. Supposed to have beer cheese on it. That’s the little quarter size yellow blob you see. It’s dry and gross. And this is the standard fare of most fast food places here anymore. Good for a couple weeks or maybe six months. Then the management or owners just let it go
