As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I was craving the rally fries and so I decided it’s about time to give this spot a try. I went through the drive thru and ordered some along with something that caught my eye; the new Philly cheesesteak bites. The fries were as I remembered them, but the bites were absolutely awful. Clearly they were frozen then fried in most likely soybean or canola oil. Basically I made a fail, I should’ve only ordered the fries, but lesson learned. The staff were friendly at the window, and the food came quick. Basic fast food, and it satisfied my craving. Now I’ll avoid coming here for another 5 years. Not the best way to start off the new year but it is what it is.

Rally’s always hits the spot no matter the day,time, or weather conditions!! Especially the deals they have to offer. Along with new items coming out. The crew always works hard and I enjoy coming here especially after a longs day of work.

Tonight was the highlight of my week due to three individuals that put a smile on my face after having a very long depressing day with bad news. I pull up to order food and as I get to the window to pay, I could see that they were cleaning up their work areas in order to close for the evening and all three seem to be very young, but all three had a smile on their face and greeted me with that same smile while asking me how my day went then after we talked for a moment, they asked me to please pull around to wait for my food to be done fresh and as I was waiting, they checked on me to let me know that they were working on it still just didn’t want me thinking I was waiting for nothing and as I tried to tip, Isaiah, Damien and Charlie, which were the three employees they responded and said no just stay blessed! And as we parted ways, they gave me that same smile, and that same energy, which is very rare to find nowadays, and I just want to applaud them and thank them because they truly lightened up my day! The food was fresh. The energy was great and the concern and care that they showed simply by their gestures meant so much to me! Thank you guys and you’re much appreciated whether you know it or not cause you never know what somebody’s going through in life and you never know what somebody’s thinking. The world needs to be more like you guys not quick to judge not negative and treat people with love as you guys did me. Thank you again and be blessed!

Today Saturday 10/4/25 night after midnight, Sunday morning to be exact 3:05 Am. I came to this Rally to have one of the Incredible meals or Unbelievable meals with is a Double burger, Apple Pie, Fries and a water. Once I got my burger I bit into it half and I immediately realized it was cold. On the way home I continued to eat the burger thinking the middle would be warm and it wasn’t. Room temperature cold. When I say cold I mean food safety issue cold. Minimum temperature for a cooked burger is 165°. Holding temp shouldn’t be any lower than 140°. I know this because I’ve actually managed this restaurant in my past and I have 20 years experience. When I say the burger was below my own personal temperature which is under 99.7° I know this burger is just sitting out in open air no heat no cover. Close to closing I’d assume it’s because they are pre closing and cleaning pans and are sacrificing quality and safety of the food which in this situation sacrificing our life and safety to get out ontime. I spun the car around and headed back to ask for a fresh burger. As I got my second burger i realize driving home agian even tho I asked for it fresh it was not. It was colder than my own body temperature agian. I decided to turn around and just get a refund. Here’s where the chaos starts. After returning for my refund the manager (Jordan) is very visibly upset and shaken. He ask me what’s wrong I tell him the burgers is so cold I don’t think y’all have them in the hot temp holding pans as to company policy. Instead of him just apologizing and issuing me a refund he goes on this aggressive rant on how he believes I’m lieng about how cold the burgers are. How he doesn’t understand how the burgers are not fresh and how I’m trying to steal and lie and continued to belittle me. I tell him the burgers are being served in the food danger zone which is between 41-140. In this area germs and micro bacteria can begin to grow. Owe he lost it and tells me never to return there agian and I’m banded off the property. I’m simply wanted a hot burger and fresh food. I’m looking to get in contact with Damion the GM to see if this is standard for his restaurant procedure for his restaurant. If so a District Manager or possible someone above the District manager within the franchise office. The gentleman’s behavior and customer service I know did not repsent company values and policy tonight. Quality of food was despicable and for him to scream and yell at me like I’m a kid for stating the 2 burgers I got was dangerous to serve to the public because of how cold they where is un acceptable should warrant documentation write up up to suspension without pay at minimum. Rallys standards are fresh food always I can’t believe the abuse I’ve received tonight verbally and emotionally.

I enjoy this rallys so much. I always pull up and say Give me 1 buford!! What? Give me 2 Bufords! What? Give me 3 Bufords!! the crew is always friendly. As a southern preacher i always leave them with a saying : Austen 3:16 says i just enjoyed this visit!! AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE BECAUSE STEVE AUSTEN SAYS SO!!
