My mother in law loves this place. However, I’ve been here two times and both times, the food has been sub-par. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican, this is not it. The first time I went here I ordered the sopes and they are not like traditional sopes, so for me it was a disappointment. Today, I ordered Arroz con pollo, and it was decent. Their salsa and chips are good. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla, and it was very bland. Our waitress didn’t provide the best service, but you can definitely tell she tried her best. Overall, I wouldn’t really go back unless my mother in law wanted us to come with her.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Pepe’s. I watched a woman peacefully sitting and reading her Bible while having chips and salsa, only to be charged for it. Chips and salsa are usually offered as a courtesy in Mexican restaurants, and to see someone nickel-and-dimed in that way was both shocking and disappointing. It gave the impression that customers aren’t valued, only their wallets. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend a place that treats people this way.

My Grandkids stay overnight and love going to Pepe’s. We have wonderful conversations over our meal. The service is always great as well as the food. The new service I can do without is the television overhead in the family dining room. It’s always showing kids shows now. My grandkids just can’t keep their eyes off of it. I’m definitely not a fan.

Stopped in with the family, menu large enough to keep everyone happy. Chips and salsa to start are fresh and delicious. Personally had their pork tenderloin. Bigger than the bun so definitely happy and full. Steak fries cooked to perfection.

We had a group event during the lunch hour in a private area. The preplanning was easy with Samantha and she had everything ready when the group arrived. I estimated how many would be attending and I way underestimated. Samantha was over the top accommodating and kept the food and drink in great supply for the additional people. She did this with a cheerful attitude all while the restaurant was under the lunch rush on a Monday.
The food was wonderful and all in all a great event. I would highly recommend Pepe’s for lunch, dinner or a group event.
