I don’t know what happened to Lupitas. We’ve been there so many times and it was so good. We even ordered take out and never had a problem. I raved about Lupitas and brought my best friend from out of town on a weekday lunch. We were the ONLY customers for an hour. We still waited to be seated. And then had to wait for anyone to wait on us. We had to go up and ask if someone would take our order. Food took a long time for just quesadillas. My friend’s was a 6in, looked like store bought fajita sprinkled with a little cheese. The kind you make for kids for lunch. Mine steak fajita had a lot of liquid. The rice was dry and the plate was barely warm. We’ve NEVER had this issue. I can’t imagine going back. This is why we lose places to eat in Oberlin.

Been eating here for about 13 years. Favorite local Mexican joint.
Unassuming and delicious.
We go every few weeks for food and margaritas. Recently on a kick for their Carne Asada Tacos.
Highly recommend.

Service was pretty quick and the Chips (which came with Salsa) were complimentary and tasted good. We also ordered the Cheese Quesadilla and Spinach Quesadilla which we thought couldn’t be messed up but were somehow really bad and bland. We also ordered the Cheese Enchilada or Chicken Chimichanga which were considerably less than mediocre. Wouldn’t recommend.

Lupitas is an Authentic Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa are never ending. Make sure you don’t fill up too much as their main entrees are fantastic. From chili rellano, taquitos, burritos, chimichangas, street tacos, enchiladas, to the fantastic margaritas you can’t go wrong with anything on the extensive menu. Lupitas is a great place to stop when you are on Oberlin and craving Mexican cuisine. Lunch specials run Mon-Sat. They always have drink specials and some tasty desserts.

If in Oberlin Ohio check out Lupitas Mexican Restaurant. Service is excellent. Beautifully painted tables and chairs. Great selection of Mexican dishes.

Easily the worst I have ever had. We could barely eat the food. The fajitas were mostly vegetables with some very dry meat tossed in and the rice and beans were so dry they were not edible. It looked like the rice and bean plates were made that morning and left under the heater all day. There was a thick dry crust on the beans and the rice was hard and dry. Nope, never again.

One of the cutest little Mexican restaurant around. Prices are reasonable and your choices of 76 different menu items will have you coming back to try them all. The staff was friendly, service was quick and the food delicious.

Mexican food done well in a fun clean atmosphere with attentive service and food that is typical, but also very good. Like a comfort food experience when you want Mexican food. Loved it and will go again.

Delicious food, good prices! We could eat their rice and beans every day. The creamy sopa poblana is a must. We make it a point to stop here for lunch while traveling.
